I have Netflix. I like the subtitles and the language selections, because my wife can watch US shows/movies in Thai and I can read the English subtitles, but there just does not seem to be much I want to watch

I have free access to Netflix, but agree, I've yet to see anything of interest, that I can't download elsewhere.  Gives the added plus of pausing, rewinding if wanting.

I had it on a weeks free trial, but gave it way after it expired. Still prefer to  download what I like and watch at my leisure.

There's an old movie called Threads from 1984 about a nuclear holocaust devastating the UK. Considering it was a low budget "made for TV" movie, it's one of the best portrayals I've ever seen depicting the aftermath of a nuclear attack. Horrific. Available on TG now.

Not sure why someone would find that funny.

Silo S02E01 "The Engineer"

Disappointing overall.

After a promising start, it turns into a somewhat tedious "woman overcoming adversity" story, much like the movie Gravity w/ Sandra Bullock. Overcoming it in the dark, mostly, unlike Gravity, while you wait for the real plot to advance. Flashbacks for filler. Tense moments, yes, amid standard tropes. Contrived, annoying, and rather silly ending as the cliffhanger. Almost seems as if she may have run into a @GammaGlobulinsurviving in that abandoned silo.😉 Our version will point out the differences, however.

Rebecca Ferguson, great actress, holds it together. But this season needs to start moving along.

Please don't attract him/her/it(gg) to this thread. It's been relatively quiet.

Buy a subscription to Neftlix. You can access some great korean and Taiwan series.

Also Diplomat is a decent series.

Is it better than HBO/MAX which costs me 35bht/month?

Me neither as I thought it was great and at the same time horrific........a warning perhaps! On to your point, there are some morons who post on here and this could have been one of them and I've had some "follow me" on some of my posts, so I remind myself that they are out there and I laugh at their efforts!!

Back on to movies and following on from my previous posts about seeking out older movies, I downloaded and watched, "Behind the Candelabra" and enjoyed it and I thought Michael Douglas was superb in it. He had all of Liberace's mannerisms down to a fine art, and how on earth folks didn't know Liberace was gay, is beyond me!

He did win an Emmy for his performance in this movie, which was fitting I thought.
