The MFP would have only been a start in the right direction, it would still take many years to correct the wrongs in Thailand. With the current situation? Things are hopeless, we are decades away from any meaningful change now, it's time for people (Thai & Foreigners) to decide their own personal direction and act on it.

Let's see how well Dissolution has worked in Thailand recent history 

 

Thai Rak Thai Party - Dissolved in 2007 after 6 years in power, 111 MP banned from politics for 5 years: Result TRT reformed and joined People Power Party and won the election in 2007.

PPP dissolved in 2008 . PPP was reformed and won by a landslide as PTP with Yingluck in charge in 2011. PTP was removed by a coup in 2014. Last election results; PTP currently leading the government  - what can we learn - TRT/PPP/ PTP despite various dissolutions still exist and are running the government, just like in 2001.

 

2018 Future Forward Party - dissolved due a technicality of receiving a loan after a very creditable election results of 80 seats was dissolved in 2020. Refomed at Move Forward and became the largest single party in parliament in the last election with 141 seats - what can we learn - dissolution led to them coming back bigger and better - just like TRT / PPP / PTP. 

 

So dissolution does not work at all. Why? Because politics is about ideologies, not parties. So please go ahead with your petition, it will have the opposite outcome of your intention Mr. Theerayut and will only highlight the insecurities of the elite in Thailand. Because ultimately party dissolution is just a form of political censorship - and censorship only reflects a country's lack of confidence in itself.

The problem is that this kind of action means a lot of innocent Thai people will die. This is exactly how civil wars start. Is it worth it? In the short term yes - which is why they have to keep having coups - It just perpetuates the cycle, and puts the good old boys back in power for a few years, but the ideology remains and grows right under their trough entrenched noses - Do you think FFP / MFP would have done as well and grown without a coup to ferment such an opposite popular response. I think UTN and PPP thought they would waltz the election - all the political commentators at the time were saying MFP would do well to equal the 80 seats from the previous election (most commentators expected significantly less) and 141 was a huge shock and public rebuke to UTN and PPP. The ideology remained, despite MFP dissolution in 2020 and grew and it will do so again, even with a possible dissolution, as recent history has shown.

Considering the fact that Move Forward was elected by the people to run the nation, Theerayut Suwankesorn could be labeled a traitor. He is certainly the polar opposite of a patriot.

That's how slaves are made, as long they continue thinking like that, they will stay slaves.

Even those who have little insight into the country needn’t look too hard

to see western influences meddling in the sovereignty of the kingdom.

Its a colour revolution claiming to bring democracy but instead facilitates

foreign control.

That lawyer is absolutely correct in his action.

    Absolutely.  They can play Whac-A-Mole all they want but MFP will just keep coming back.  And, every time stronger, whatever the new name.

Even when there's been meddling in it's affairs for ages......more often than not, interference that almost always maintains it's support for elite circles. 

This man is a traitor to his nation on so many levels I don't even know where to start. The degree to which he misunderstands basic qualities of decency is astonishing. 

 

Theerayut Suwankesorn should be locked up and disbarred from practicing law. He is a menace to society.
