A couple of options if you are flying in to DM. They all depend on the time you are arriving.

Cab to Mor Chit (about 100B) and bus from there (about 130B). Not sure what time the last bus leaves.

Cab to Pattaya about B1000

Local bus to Mor chit BTS B15, BTS to Ekamai B60 bus to Pattaya.
