You still believe that a convicted criminal is better than an honest man. I feel sad for you.

I won't even bother to answer your posts any more.

Well, if you believe that Biden is an honest man..... I feel sad for you

Gym Jordan will obviously push his threat of charging Fani Willis contempt even harder now for her failing to respond to his subpoena.

He doesn't seem to mind the hypocrisy of his own failure to respond to one for Jan 6th Committee hearing.

His name is Jim, not Skippy.

I would like to see Fani Willis recruit a superstar prosecutor - an Andrew Weissman, Glenn Kirschner, or Eric Holder.

Maybe a foursome in the works?

You’ve obviously run out of sensible arguments hence your resort to crude innuendo.

I wasn't arguing.

It also does not mean that it did occur, either.

Unless you have proof that it did occur, then it did not.

Maybe. But you'd have to prove that to be sure.

Justice delayed is justice denied!

Headline today NY Times:

Stalling: A Time-Tested Legal Strategy That Keeps Working for Trump

A delay in the former president’s impending Manhattan trial date was just the latest example of his ability to bend his busy court calendar in his favor.

So, when does the trial start?

Updated 6:20 PM EDT, Fri March 15, 2024

The judge overseeing Donald Trump’s criminal hush money trial in Manhattan has agreed to delay its start, injecting more uncertainty into the legal calendar for the former president.

The trial had been scheduled to begin on March 25.

A new trial date is yet to be determined, but is not likely before mid-April.

I meant the Georgia trial.

The obvious sequence of events is Trump is found guilty in NY, gets probation, then is found guilty in Georgia, gets prison time as a repeat offender.

After so many years, various governments and coups, proof would be very hard to find and may come with many different price tags.

As usual, nothing substantive about the topic, which is the Trump trial in Georgia.

But, yes: when Trump is convicted, Fani Willis will have a party.

Note to those struggling even further behind - that there is no charge of perjury does not necessarily mean that it did not occur.

(Judge) McAfee has yet to set a trial date in the case. In November, the DA's office had asked for an August 5, 2024 trial.

If Trump knew he was innocent, he would have demanded trials last year.

William W. Taylor III, a veteran white-collar defense attorney in Washington, D.C., who has handled cases in federal and state court around the country, said that Mr. Trump was hardly the only defendant who wanted to delay a trial.

“Anybody who’s got four criminal cases to contend with has four serious problems,” he said. “The last thing you want to do if you’re in the position of being a defendant in those things is to have any of them be resolved.”
