Social Media
Nikki Haley's bid for the Republican presidential nomination appears to be coming to an end. Following a string of losses in the Super Tuesday contests, Haley is reportedly set to suspend her campaign, paving the way for Donald Trump to secure the nomination once again. The former South Carolina governor, who previously served as Trump's United Nations ambassador, had positioned herself as a more electable alternative to her rivals. However, her inability to secure victories in key primary contests has led to her decision to withdraw from the race. Haley's campaign faced significant challenges from the outset, with losses in states including Iowa, New Hampshire, and her home state of South Carolina. Despite winning only in Washington DC and Vermont, Haley remained the last prominent candidate standing opposite Trump in the Republican primary. Her withdrawal from the race ensures that Trump will secure the Republican nomination for a third consecutive election. However, it comes amidst legal and political challenges facing Trump, including criminal charges, attempts to remove him from the ballot, and civil court rulings against him. Haley's political career has been marked by highs and lows. As governor of South Carolina, she enjoyed popularity but failed to carry her home state in the Republican primary. Her tenure as US ambassador to the UN was characterized by speculation about her presidential ambitions, which she denied. During her presidential campaign, Haley sought to position herself as a fresh alternative to Trump, emphasizing her electability and presenting herself as a proud daughter of Indian immigrants with a unique perspective on US race relations. However, she faced challenges in navigating her relationship with Trump, veering between mild criticism and praise. Despite her efforts to appeal to Republican voters and present herself as a viable alternative to Trump, Haley ultimately could not convince enough Republicans to support her bid for the nomination. As she prepares to suspend her campaign, it remains to be seen what her next steps will be in the political arena. 07.03.24 Source

Trump did not call a person supervising elections to find him 11,800 votes, there was no fake elector plot, he did not refuse to give back classified Presidential records, hide them and lie about it, did not watch his supporters assaulting the Capitol without asking them at once to stop it,.... etc That all a baseless witch hunt! 😀

You can add me to that. I never used to want Trump to even run before they whacked him with 91 court cases, but now I want him to win just to see them cower. Like many Americans, every time they come up with yet another politically motivated nonsense against him, I only support him more. Why do I consider the 91 court cases politically motivated? Because they had 3 years to bring them, but IMO waited till they thought it would cripple him politically, and most non biased people IMO understand that. 2 1 1 2

Ahhh he broke the law thingy when he was president they dident prosecute cause of the not prosecuting the sitting president thingy many of the crimes are on tape on tv all absolutely corroborated with that pesky evidence thingy alone with Donald’s delay tactics hope that helps.as far as nickey dropping out she had no choice I applaud her courage and integrity to stand for what she believes in and for the exposing the cracks in trump’s support I hope she succeeds in anything she puts her efforts into

No one likes to throw money away. I'm not a Nikki fan at all, but she was dumb to drop out. She could have stopped spending and been honest that she's the backup candidate in case Trump gets taken out by lawfare. She could have even come out in support of Trump and stayed in it as the backup. That said, I'd make the same claim about DeSantis, because if Trump is taken out by lawfare, most of his voters wouldn't have gone to Haley. Most of them would have gone to DeSantis. But not as long as Trump was still in it. In a 3 way race, DeSantis would have been #3. But in a 2 way race with no Trump, DeSantis would beat Haley. I'm no fan of Trump but the way that the Dems are trying to keep power by crippling their political rival via the legal system is sickening. The meltdown in November is going to be epic. 1 1 1

She could have stayed in it and made nice, campaigning right alongside Trump at minimal to no expense. Even acted disappointed when/if he gets taken out... Which is still a real possibility. Plus, it would help her chances in 2028 even if Trump goes the distance in 2024.

The Republican candidate is selected at their National Convention, the signs are it’s going to be a floor fight. Trump is a divisive figure, here now dividing the Republican vote. Get your ‘popped liquids gold’ ready. And thanks for a question that actually goes to the heart of the issue. Far too few seeing the picture behind the noise.
