Yes of course it is, made you think though didn't it and all the pro-Israel posts on here are to minimize the worldwide condemnation of Israel atrocities in Gaza and the occupied territories, by fair means or foul, tell us something we don't know.

No. Your nonsense does not make me need to think I can promise you. Facts trump.

Credible links Jeff that they are POW's, not your pathetic attempts at minimizing what Hamas is doing and what they are. hostages held in horrific tunnels in Gaza probably getting sexually abused. Oh and there was no war when they were kidnapped, that came the next day when Israel declared it.

I always provide links to my claims, unlike you.

According to the 24-page report, there is "clear and convincing" information suggesting that sexual violence, including rape, sexualized torture, and other forms of abuse, was committed against hostages held in captivity by Hamas in Gaza. Moreover, there are "reasonable grounds" to believe that such violence is ongoing against those still held captive.

Caught you telling fibs again, naughty naughty, I won't hold my breath for an apology.

Note the date, so therefore why are the combatants captured on the 7th Oct 2023 not classed as POW's?

Now explain what fibs exactly instead of more of your nonsense. But first provide a link to your ridiculous claims the girls are POW's. The declaration of war by Israel was after the hostage taking as a reminder for you.

So link to your claims and enough of this timewasting nonsense.

These 5 must be classed as P.O.W.'s, as they were in the I.D.F.

Liri Albag was kidnapped from the Nahal Oz IDF base on the Gaza border, where she served as a surveillance soldier. She completed basic training and reported to the base on Thursday, October 5, just two days before her abduction.

Karina Ariev, a surveillance soldier, was abducted from the Nahal Oz IDF Base.

Agam, also known as “Gagi,” was kidnapped from the Nahal Oz IDF Base, where she served as a communications lookout. It was her first weekend on the base.

Serving as an observation soldier at the IDF 414th Combat Intelligence Collection Unit, Gilboa was abducted from the Nahal Oz Base.

Naama was kidnapped on Saturday, October 7 from the Nahal Oz IDF Base. She had just finished her training to be a part of the border observation unit and arrived on base on Thursday, October 5.

How nice for them. One wonders if anyone will write a little story for the thousands of Gazan women that were blown up, buried alive under the rubble of their homes, died of diseases easily cured if they had the medicine to do so, died of wounds untreated because the hospitals were destroyed, or died of drinking bad water, because the treatment plants were blown up by the israelis?

You'll have to excuse me if I'm not particularly concerned for a few israeli soldiers, when hundreds if not thousands of Palestinian women are indefinitely incarcerated without trial in israeli jails under administrative detention.

We already know your not concerned for the women hostages, children or men. A hamas apologist will do all they can to ignore that this is the reason why the war is still ongoing and Hamas could stop it all today.

I see the propaganda machine is in full swing with the old "probably being sexually abused" BS from the poster you quoted.

Not one, far as I know, released hostage has ever claimed they were being abused. I class it in the same category as babies being beheaded and a baby in a microwave lies.

Because when you make demands for prisoners release, they then become hostages .

You seem to have great difficulty understanding that simple point .

Hamas have made demands for their release, which means they are being held hostage .

"Former hostage Amit Sousanna recounted being raped and tortured by Hamas to the New York Times, whose article on her experiences was published on Tuesday."

I suggest you read one of the other numerous reports including by the UN.

Just to clarify, I know you read my posts so instead of being a coward respond to your false claims.

Babies died in the Hamas terror attack , you are just using a misunderstanding about how the babies died to try to make it seem like no babies died in the attack

You said the war was not declared until the next day, your post is above with your comment highlighted in bold, italics and underlined, lie number 1.

Now show me a post where I have claimed that the 5 girls/ladies were POW's, I actually said "These 5 must be classed as P.O.W.'s, as they were in the I.D.F."

As an aside the 5 IDF members were captured on the day war was declared by Netanyahu the 7th Oct 2023, to me the hour of capture is irrelevant, same day.

Who cares if the hour to you is irrelevant. Historical facts are relevant.  However the official declaration was the next day. Not that this matters.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had already said Saturday his country was at war with Hamas as the militants’ attack raged, but his assessment was rhetorical. The Cabinet decision was an official declaration of war.

Ahead of the Cabinet vote, Netanyahu declared that Israel would “take mighty vengeance” against Hamas, even as Israeli soldiers battled Hamas fighters Sunday in the streets of southern Israel and launched retaliatory airstrikes that leveled buildings in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday, October 7, told Israel that it is "at war" with Hamas militants that rule the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu's comments in a televised address mark his first since the Gaza Strip's Hamas rulers launched a major, multi-front attack on Israel at daybreak Saturday. He ordered a call-up of reservists and promised that Hamas would "pay a price that it hasn't known until now."

"We are at war," Netanyahu said. "Not an 'operation,' not a 'round,' but at war."

The prime minister also ordered the military to clear the infiltrated towns of Hamas militants that remained locked in gunfights with Israeli soldiers.

Its completely irrelevant as to when the war started in regards to your suggestion that they are P.O.W's .

And being no doubts rapped as we speak, not to mention the torture and the inhumane sufferings,

the curtly and vicariousness of the Hamas terrorists AND THE Palestinian civilians men who took

parts in the massacre, rape torture and kidnapping, that alone is enough to make sure that such deeds

will never happen again by the need to eliminate as many of them as possible...

Tens of thousands of Israelis take part in anti-gov’t protests
Protesters say Jerusalem rally is the biggest anti-government protest since Israel launched its war on Gaza in October.

Tens of thousands of people have gathered outside the Israeli parliament building in Jerusalem in the largest anti-government protest since Israel launched its assault on Gaza.

The protesters on Sunday demanded the government secure a ceasefire deal that would also free Israeli captives held by Hamas in Gaza and called for early elections.

On 26 March 2024 during the 55th session of the Geneva-based Human Rights Council, Francesca Albanese, Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, presented a report entitled "Anatomy of a Genocide".

By analyzing the patterns of violence and Israel’s policies in its onslaught on Gaza, Ms. Albanese concludes that "there are reasonable grounds to believe that the threshold indicating Israel’s commission of genocide is met."

Special Rapporteurs are appointed by the Human Rights Council and serve in their individual capacity, independent of the UN system and national governments. They are not UN staff and draw no salary.
