I therefor get the impression that Westerners on Motorcycles are more of a target than Thai's on Motorcycles in the main area's of tourist footfall in Patong, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Chiang Mai...

In Pattaya the Police Station is on Beach Road and for years on end the police regularly come out on the road to check the bikes.  As far as I can see everyone gets stopped for an infringement and percentage wise Thais greatly outnumber foreigners. Helmets in the basket or 3 on the bike being the most common.

Is this the medication many take to sleep on a long haul flight?

Yep. 2mg Lorezapam.

It's great on long flights.

Actually it's great for sleeping but it is without question addictive in the long term.

Prescribed drugs I buy at hospital pharmacy... Are paid for by my insurance.

Do you have insurance ?

I have insurance but not to pay for meds.  Covers for hospital in-patient.  Pre-existing conditions not covered.

Arrested for one pill for personal use. Such inane stupidity.

Yeah just like the morons who claim 1 pill of Ecstasy/MDMA or 1 gram of coke or 1 Yaba pill is "normal" and personal use only

It aint fella. Lock the sods up no excuses no packdrill. Drug abuse (ohhh its only personal use) costs the UK £65 Billion a year to fight and resist enough for 30 new hospitals

Why shouldnt Thailand take the same stance and I am very pleased they do
