Sri Racha, Chonburi — Firefighters in Sri Racha, Chonburi, extinguished a large fire that broke out at a dump site yesterday, March 17th, 2024.

The dump site is located near Sukhumvit Road in the Surasak area. Firefighting personnel from Sriracha Municipality rushed to quell the blaze after receiving the report around 10 AM.

Upon arrival, the firefighters found flames engulfing a large pile of garbage, with smoke billowing into the sky. The presence of significant wood debris in the landfill caused the fire to spread rapidly. Six fire trucks were used to combat the blaze, which took over 30 minutes to bring under control.

Is it landfill...or just another public dumping area ignored as usual, by the authorities?

Looks like a fly tipping area. No way they would be daft enough to have a landfill there.
