Thanks Steve my bill is due within the next few days. I will try it. Do I select iBanking from within the PEA app?

You just select bank transfer as the payment method and then Bangkok Bank.  It will automatically open the iBanking site to log in.

Can you explain that further? For 6 years now I pay both PEA and TOT by Direct debit with no problems.

Well if the bills are correct that is fine, although the advice I received was more to do with the difficulty of cancelling the direct debit where utilities are concerned. It was a long time ago and I cannot attest to that still being an issue.

I used Lazada to pay my PEA bill.

Yes, I suspect the  'wallets' are yet another alternative......but my electricity bill is usually somewhat more than I leave sitting in there.

I pay for my PEA bill on Lazada using a US credit card.

It takes about one minute.

I have lived here a while now so pay from domestic source.... my Thai CC covers my True Bill but otherwise I am into scanning QR codes from a Thai Bank app.

Nah, just set up automatic deduction from your bank account.

PEA leaves your bill in the box outside, then pulls the charge from your authorized account.

Did that two years ago.

Best alternative for those with permanent addresses.
