Buying Supplements Thailand
L-theanine, An amino acid found primarily in green tea is known for its calming effect and cognitive enhancing effects also known to improve sleep quality. Apigenin, a molecule found in celery and camomile, mainly used for making senescent cells “behave” , but is also a precursor to GABA which helps with sleep. So taking those two with magnesium glycinate about 30-60 mins before bed is great for sleep. -

Why on earth would you even consider paying tax in Thailand?
I didn't vote because the author of this poll missed the most obvious answer of all. 'I will not be paying income tax in Thailand because my assessable income is below my TEDA therefor no tax is due". And that is probably this answer that applies to the majority of us here. -

Electric scooters / bike
That is not the price of the scooter pictured, and probably for an accessory. LAX listings do that quite often. That scooter sells for 10s or 1000s of baht more. -

Tips for first time tourists, especially western teenage girls
Your posting style has taken a particularly nasty turn. I'm writing about the positive aspects of making new friends whilst travelling, against your increasingly shrill protestations of "trust no one" and "extreme violence". It seems that you want to insist that your version of the world is the only valid one. Yet millions of young travellers get to meet each other without getting into trouble. Trusting doesn't have to mean giving in to wild abandon. It might simply mean getting to understand the way different people think, developing your skills for life. But in your imagination...we can see what goes on there. How else are you going to find the good people amongst you? "Trust no one" is just a starting point. Without trust, what do you have? -

No tax on Aussie pension
That has been my understanding as well. I receive a State Government pension for a deceased wife. Their paperwork says it is tax free unless over a high amount so I assume it cannot be taxed in Thailand either.
