Help Needed For Ex-pat With Overseas Money Transfer Using Bangkok Bank.

Hi I wondered if anyone would be able to help me.

I have a Bangkok Bank account, but never applied for the iBualuang. I am thinking about applying for the service, but ideally wanted to know in advance what the system is like when it comes to sending money overseas FROM Thailand.

On the bbl.co.th homepage, when looking at the features for iBualuang, it clearly states that you can transfer money overseas using iBualuang. Can anyone confirm that they have tried this and it works. They offer links to screenshots on the page, but none of them actually work.

Another question I have. If anyone resides in Southern Thailand, have they tried sending money overseas (Wire Transfer). I have been told that many branches of BBL do not have a foreign remittance service. Is this true?

I would like to know as all of this information will prove very helpful in the next few days.

Hopefully you have a work permit or BB will not give you internet banking access. Never tried the online banking transfer to offshore.
