Yes, I stuffed down the entuire package, but its pretty gross.

That tells us more about you than about Walls.

Personally, I select carefully what I eat.

Walls ice cream used to be made with with Pig fat ....... probably still is .....   so not exactly Premium

Here's a Thai ingredients label for their product. They call it "Ice Confection"!

Actual liquid milk or cream seems kinda hard to find.

In the past, when I've checked the ingredient labels for the cheapest "ice creams" in Thailand, they often seemed to have various forms of sugar and palm oil as among their primary ingredients.

Pretty good but not a patch on Haagen-Dazs.

Too silly priced in TH.

But you get what you pay for.  I agree that Swensen's is a good alternative to HD, though.

The soft serve icecream in Australia years ago was horrendous.

You need not even finish a cone and you could scrape a wax/fat type substance from the roof of your mouth.  Nasty stuff... Probably pig fat as has been mentioned

maybe its a special kind of ice cream..

Breyers used to be a premium product back in the day.  But, sold out to the conglomerates, who really screwed it up.

From Wiki ... "History:

image.png.369853548e17dfa6a0c84569c3dda1c7.png

Breyer ice cream truck, c. 1915

In 1866, William A. Breyer began to produce and sell iced cream in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 👍 first from his home, and later via horse and wagon on the streets. Breyer's son Henry incorporated the business in 1908. The formerly independent Breyer Ice Cream Company was sold to the National Dairy Products Corporation/Sealtest in 1926.[3] National Dairy then changed its name to Kraftco in 1968, and Kraft by 1975. Kraft sold its ice cream brands to Unilever in 1993, while retaining the rights to the name for yogurt products.

Ice cream[edit]

Prior to 2006,[5] Breyers was known for producing ice cream with a small number of all-natural ingredients.

In recent years,[when?] as part of cost-cutting measures since their move from Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Unilever's U.S. headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey,[6] Unilever has reformulated many of its flavors with nontraditional, additive ingredients, significantly changing the taste and texture of their desserts as a result." 😲

Ice-cream  is broken down primarily by flavour, texture and over-run (simply put, air)

Cheap ice-cream will have a lot more overrun where as premium ice-cream such as Haggen Daz has a left less air and more of the premium ingredients.

Walls is crap, always has been. Swensens I would put as middle groumd

Walls and other brands are foam which they flash freeze I think. Have you ever let it melt a little a see what happens? All the syrups pool outside and a foamy husk remains. It's not bad I guess but it's absolutely low quality that's for sure.

Agreed especially with weather like we have been having. This one the Dark Chocolate Brownie is really nice, but hard to find.
