Thai woman abuses child on video calls as blackmail to extort money from Farang husband

Recommended Posts

I'll try to summarize this but if you click on the link and go to the 32 second mark you can see the relevant evidence. The channel blurs everything so it's hard to make out but there's English at least so you get the idea. Sorry mods, this is the best I can do but I'm posting because it's relevant to expats in Thailand.

Basically what happens is this English guy has a child with this Thai woman and is working abroad while sending her money to support the kid. They have disputes about her allowance and how much she's asking for so the woman abuses the child on video calls as a form of blackmail.

Final straw is when she pulls out a gun and points it at the kid on video (still frame below with text saying "gun"). At this point the man calls the police in Thailand but it's not clear what will happen next and how it gets resolved.

Flipping ek... thats brutal...  He's working away to support then and this grade A1 mercenary biyatch pulls this stunt...

For anyone who works away from their family, any time their child or wife gets sick and they are stuck away utterly powerless is a horrible situation....

This child needs to be removed from the family as quickly as possible... but, would the father be able to look after the child while also working ? (i.e. does he work on ships or a rig etc)....

A terrible situation...

Yes it is a terrible situation. But, it´s also a situation he built up by his own choices. Maybe wait more than the first shot to make a baby.

When will foreigners understand ? No marriage. No buy house with Thai lady for god's sake and least of all think of the poor kid, no kid. Who stupid can foreigners get really ? Of course there are plently of great outcomes in these unions but far to many cases of such legal engagements with thai-westerners, rarely end up well. Wake up guys. Have your fun and play around but that's it. Forget those Walt Disney fairy tales you saw as a kid. Reality is ruthless and harsh all over the world and no exception in Thailand. Play, enjoy, have fun, stay healthy,...but no sign any paper together.

The other kid says the English guy sends money but she goes out and squanders it, he doesn't know what on. Could be gambling debts.

The teenager at the end is her son by a previous relationship with a Thai man. He says his mother was the same with him, violent.

He implores the Englishman to come and take his 7 year old sister back to the U K because he fears for her safety.

The police said it's a domestic issue which has to proceed by law, I think this means the Englishman himself would have to come back to Thailand and seek custody himself.

The only other hope is the girl's grandparents if they're about and willing to take the girl.

The woman has a history of violence. She should be easy to bring to justice.

First thing the cops should do is find out if it is a legal gun, even if legal they should take it off her for endangering a child. But don't expect the RTP to start at the obvious beginning------She Thai----Him Falang---

Enough blaming the Falang for getting her pregnant and not waiting to see if she is a precessional fast track executive type…

yes, he was stupid but she is committing criminal acts…

the courts should intervene w/o the need for him to physically come over…it’s called child services until legally sorted out

It made the news, so one would hope the innocent kid will be taken to a safer home.

And the guy who put a laughing emoji on the story, I think it's time you thought whether you are really necessary or wanted in this world.
