Thailand offers visa free access to many foreign nationals, how many western countries offer visa free access to Thais.

Thai tourism and industry needs foreigners and their investment, money. Europeans need nothing from Thailand.

Yeah, the Ukrainians experts.

However, Asians are still high in demand because of the fetish.

Visa-free travel for Thais to Europe still faces an uphill battle

Srettha Thavisin and Emmanuel Macron, the premiers of Thailand and France, have made no secret of💗 👉their desire to extend “freedom” into the visa world too.👈💗

Although detail is lacking 💗👉 the general idea is to allow EU citizens into Thailand visa-free and payment-free for 90 days as opposed to the current 30 days. 👈 💗This is sort-off the current agreement between Russia and Thailand, howbeit with some ambiguity about whether the three months’ stay permits business activity as well as beach holidays.💗💗💗

The Thai prime minister does not seem over-concerned about recent cases of visa abuse and fraud, putting his faith in new technology and AI to identify and deport unwelcome guests.

Small  number and their tourism dollars will be negated by Thai's coming to work illegally.

Those seeking employment??? this is for tourists not so a Thai can come and work. No idea what you're getting at here.

I sincerely hope that you do not need to have pointed out the difference between seeking employment and working. The schengen visa is typically a 3 month visa enabling someone to "look" for work.

Rich Thai people don't have any problem getting a visa to the US or EU.

Yes, but it still needs forms, photographs and visa procedures and that's what these rich Thais do not like as it puts them in line with the commoners. Some are even called in for interviews .........

But, as said, it would facilitate everbody's life and cut a lot of bureaucracy if Thais would be given a month visa exemption in Europe. And crooks are crooks and always find means and ways to circumvent whatever regulation there is - possibly without North Korea though ...........

I didn't know that. Still makes no sense why you want random Thai people "looking" for work in Europe without any path to get a proper visa. They're just going to overstay and not go home if you make this easy for them, maybe the EU wants more slow wage labor to drive down the cost of hiring native Europeans.

Switzerland is NOT member

The only EU member that ain't is Ireland and Cyprus only ratified partially  (unsurprisingly still checking landborders to their 'turkish parts').

I've come to the conclusion that an awful lot of people on this website have never met rich Thais, and think they don't exist.

More to the point they keep banging on about the "average" Thai, apparently blithe to the fact that those people in new cars buying new condos and homes all around them are the average Thai.

the middle class is much more well-off than many on here want to admit.

How can EU make decisions for Schengen ? For Schengen it is Schengen and for EU it is EU. Switzerland is not member of EU-Schengen only Schengen.

Visa free travel will be controlled i imagine and not every thai can afford to travel or get there.I would think visa on entry like thailand would work in europe that maybe what they will do.I know many thais who are married to farangs they visit then want to return to thailand,so overstay maybe not a issue but some mit.

It is too cold for thais  in winter some like it some don,t but overall many will visit and come back to thailand
