snoop1130
The peaceful veneer of Phuket was marred yesterday when an alcohol-fuelled domestic dispute resulted in a horrifying act of violence. Insorn Bousai, 56, originally from Chiang Mai, was arrested after he attacked his wife, Boonjun Buasai, 52, with an axe, causing a severe injury to her foot. The unsettling occurrence took place in a shophouse in Srisoonthorn, Phuket. Authorities, informed of the incident at precisely 3.31pm, were on the scene in minutes. Thalang Police, led by Police Lieutenant Thitiwat Asasingh, worked in tandem with a medical team from Srisoonthorn Municipality swiftly securing the area and tending to the victim. The officers found an inebriated Insorn in the vicinity. His wife Boonjun was bleeding profusely from a major wound to her right foot, the unfortunate result of the axe attack. The offensive weapon was subsequently located inside the dwelling and secured as evidence. Immediate first aid was administered to Boonjun, before she was transported to Thalang Hospital for further medical attention. Insorn was apprehended at the scene without resistance, according to the authorities. The accused was then escorted to Thalang Police Station for detailed questioning while legal protocols were set in motion, as confirmed by the police. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, with the officers dedicated to ensuring a swift and just outcome for the victim. This harrowing incident has underscored the often overlooked issue of domestic violence. Society at large has been reminded of the potentially volatile escalation of domestic disputes, especially when combined with the recklessness of alcohol consumption. It emphasises the need for public education and policy reform for prevention, early detection, and intervention in such cases. For now, the community stands behind Boonjun in her recovery, as they anticipate the full weight of law falling on the perpetrator. File photo for reference only. hotchilli
What a sad man, pi$$ed and attacking the missus with an axe. When he sobers up he'll realise he's just lost everything, and hopefully a long stretch of his freedom. Cold turkey in a 6x6 cell.
