Bolton Boys We Are Here (reborn 2024)

Featured Replies

Just in time for this years League 1 playoff final v Oxford at Wembley on Saturday (18th). Kick off is 10.15 pm Thai time.

Over 70,000 expected for what is a 3rd Division match in old money.

Main men could be Collins for Bolton and Brannagan for the U's.

Enjoy.

Up The Whites!!!.

And ... we're off to a new season with a 2-1 win at Leyton Orient. Not a happy hunting ground for us and the difference between the teams this time was the goalies. Bolton's was excellent, Leyton Orient's not so good.

Wrexham at home next Saturday in front of 25,000+. Time to give those sheep shagging Hollywood fraudsters a proper hammering. 5-0 to Bolton, McAtee hat-trick.

Up The Whites!!!

Three good wins on the spin now. Steaming up the table.

Winning against modest opposition, it must be said. We play at Birmingham at the end of the month; that will be an acid test.

Keep an eye out for the donkey lashers at Blackpool. Young chap called Steve Bruce has worked his magic there.

Back in the top 6 and in a play-off place after a good run of results. Promotion is on again.

Another home defeat to local "rivals" Wigan and the fans are turning on the manager, Ian Evatt. We are one point off a play-off slot.

Manager Ian Evatt has left by "mutual consent" after 4 and a half years in charge. One promotion and a Wembley cup final win were the highlights. A few too many low lights in 2024 and into the New Year.

Sad news with the passing of Wyn Davies during the week at age 83. Played for Wrexham, Bolton, City and United, Newcastle; where he won the Fairs Cup; and Blackpool. He finished his working life as a baker for Warburtons in Bolton.

He was known as Wyn the Leap.

RIP Wyn.
