Uh oh.

Trump's plan.

Others might disagree but I'm reading this as throwing Ukraine under the bus.

Which I expected but this seems to confirm.

Kellog should stick to making cornflakes.

With Russias economy in dire straights Ukraine would never agree to such a plan. Gives Russia way too much.

Not all of us believe western propaganda.

The alternative is to keep fighting till the inevitable Russian victory, and lose it all, or accept reality.

This bus should never have left the station.

The dead will haunt Zelkensky till he joins them.

I don't know why Trump is even giving Zelensky anything. He should just stop any weapons being shipped till Zelensky open negotiations and agrees to a permanent halt on lines at ceasefire.

Desertion threatens to starve Ukraine's forces at a crucial time in its war with Russia

https://www.yahoo.com/news/desertion-threatens-starve-ukraines-forces-052438561.html

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Desertion is starving the Ukrainian army of desperately needed manpower and crippling its battle plans at a crucial time in its war with Russia, which could put Kyiv at a clear disadvantage in future ceasefire talks.

Facing every imaginable shortage, tens of thousands of Ukrainian troops, tired and bereft, have walked away from combat and front-line positions to slide into anonymity, according to soldiers, lawyers and Ukrainian officials. Entire units have abandoned their posts, leaving defensive lines vulnerable and accelerating territorial losses, according to military commanders and soldiers.

Some take medical leave and never return, haunted by the traumas of war and demoralized by bleak prospects for victory. Others clash with commanders and refuse to carry out orders, sometimes in the middle of firefights.

“This problem is critical,” said Oleksandr Kovalenko, a Kyiv-based military analyst. “This is the third year of war, and this problem will only grow.”

The many dead definitely won't haunt Putin.

Obviously or he wouldn't be where he is today. However, that doesn't mean he is going to lose this war.

That's what happens when the side one is defending from a wet and dirty trench is losing.

Zelensky and his cabal can BS as much as they want to about how they can win if only they have more tanks, if only they have more planes, if only they have more shells etc etc etc, but when they are so stupid as to sent their "best troops" on a losing task, one wonders how they lasted this long.

The guys on the front line can't be fooled by the propaganda.

At the beginning of the conflict, Ukrainians were sure that America would enter any conflict and protect them. Feeling the great power of America behind them, Ukrainians lined up at military registration and enlistment offices at the beginning of the conflict. Much has changed since then and today Ukrainians have already changed their minds.
Today it is the turn of people from Europe and UK to test their dreams in practice. We see that in UK they are sure that the USA will stand up for them all (see the headline below: Times Radio: US will enter the Russia-Ukraine conflict if Putin uses nukes). Will they be right or will they end up like the Ukrainians, what do you think?
