webfact Posted May 27 Share Posted May 27 Patong - An Indian man was arrested for theft at a shopping mall in Patong on Sunday (May 26th). The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that at 9:30 P.M. on the day in question they arrested an Indian man after he was caught by citizens at a shopping mall on the Ratcha Uthit Road in Patong. He was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of night theft. " Have to love Thai reporting (could be the lost in translation matter), this one "Night Thefts" (huh?) in another story a drunken Scotsman is hit by a car after bar brawl when in actuality his "friend" shoved him in front of a passing car on the stumblin bumblin drunken way home.
