nicelee808
Hi, I'm coming to Thailand for 6 weeks, my UK passport only gets me 30 days on arrival, what's the best way to extend? I have a Thai marriage certificate, but my wife is not in Thailand. I have 2 kids from a previous who are in Thailand Any suggestions will be appreciated. DrJack54
Easiest way is to obtain a 30 day extension to your visa exempt entry Use a TM7 form. 1900bht You can apply with week or two remaining on your entry stamp. The 30 days will be added to expiry date of entry stamp. This attached thread explains the application https://aseannow.com/topic/1324628-30-day-extension-to-visa-exempt-entry❓/ Did you consider eVisa (tourist visa) obtained in UK. Provides 60 days

nicelee808
I am from the UK, but I'm in China. My wife won't be able to sign the documents needed, so looks like I will have to extend with children's birth certificate, does anyone know the process is.

You can just extend normally , no need for any birth certificate . Best not to tell anyone about the children , as you would be going to Thailand as a tourist and not to see children and they could tell you to get the correct visa

"Easiest way is to obtain a 30 day extension to your visa exempt entry Use a TM7 form. 1900bht You can apply with week or two remaining on your entry stamp. I also posted comprehensive thread that covers how to obtain a 30 day extension! 1 1

Your accommodation should do a TM30 report , ask them for a photo copy of the TM30 to take along to immigration , you will also need a passport seized photo
claffey
If you are resident in China you can get an evisa online. It's very easy. I got one recently.
