What's Your Funniest One Liner Heard On Tv

Featured Replies

"Moss,

Has the football ground flooded? I hear Oxford is pretty bad with flooding at the moment. Hope you and Mrs Finn are OK and not been affected".

Posted by Mr Boj

Response by TP

"From what I can understand they are using the stadium as a shelter for displaced senior citizens.

Oxford United are also offering them all a trial while they are there".

:o

C'mon anyone know one better?

Moss

Not a one liner, but I used to enjoy reading Aviador's posts (until he got banned - although I suspect he's recently resurfaced). With a little bit of comedic massaging, his tales of woe would make a terrific little sitcom series.

Not quite what I had in mind Ping, but as nobody else had responded, I am glad of anything :o

Anybody else?

Moss

BTW, who on Earth is Aviador?

I'm sorry Moss, I know there have been loads, I just can't recall them. However, if I do...

Me either, Mossy. The chat room thread has some pretty amusing one liners. CVic is good for several, but I think the whole clan has made at least one good retort in their sorry-a** careers here.

There's one that Sriracha John made on here a couple of weeks ago that made me spit beer all over my keyboard & screen. I went searching for it, but I can't remember what thread it was on. Such is the nature of Bedders - nothing ever stays on thread, so it's impossible (for me) to go back & find anything. :o

Ooh, tax made a funny one the other day. I'll go see if I can find it.

Edit - Don't know how to quote from one thread to another, so I'll just copy & paste.

taxexile on "Thai Visa Cliches" thread (General) about which threads irritate members:

the " i'm about to retire to thailand and want to know if i can ship over me old socks and dentures without customs charges." posts.

Well, I thought it was funny! :D

This is a direst quote from Taxexile that I can repeat from memory and it split me up.

The thread was regarding the yo-yoing of the dollar and Tax wrote.

"I don't know wheather to buy the Bentley or Sack the Butler" :o

For me he is the most humourous person on TV

No worries Suegha, it wasn't meant to be a dig at anybody.

It is!

I thought so too!

REAL funny :o

Quick someone, post some more, perhaps we will break a habit of a life time and make Jens smile or at least remove the rod from his backside.

If you heard my violin playing, now THAT is FUNNY! :bah::D :D :D

Just did an advanced search filtered by member name and subforum bedlam with keyword beer... and this came up:

(i would have flamed him too!) :o

meemithai did this one responding to me in another thread, really made me chuckle!

It seems to me most people cannot face reality. When reality is pointed out, people do not know how to deal with it.

If people just try to answer my questions directly probably they will see how contradicting their beliefs are. And don't tell me that you people think I will eat dogs and cats!

Oh yes meemiathai, ever the realistic, intelligent sensible, sensitive, caring, empathetic individual. Always looking for the balanced argument. I don't know what we'd do without you!

And of course, we, all of us in Bedlam, are full of contradictions and folly. We’re so glad that we have you to put us straight!

Thanks meemithai for being such a great guy!

You are welcomed.

Now that's just a classic beyond compare!

Well if you have half an hour or so to spare, you can read some of his tales of woe in this thread:

  • 2 weeks later...

I believe we have a winner, ladies & gentlemen...

Bendix, today, on General. the thread being about a farang beggar & Bendix relating an experience he had with a British beggar, whom our hero declined to donate to...

He called me a f****g c**t, which was not only nice but incredibly perceptive for such a swift encounter.

:o:D:D
