The ICC is not perfect - few things are. There judgements are not made by one individual, a panel of 5 judges issues the judgements. so corruption is harder. As for France saying the warrant was unenforceable, that was Macron doing a deal with Netanyahu to get the Lebanon ceasefire. Strange that few criticised Putin's indictment, but Netanyahu? Suddenly they are all bad. Netanyahu has presided over the death of more civilians in one year than Putin has caused in nearly 3 years, in a war on a vastly larger scale. Israel has a vast propaganda machine, cross them and they will do their upmost to discredit you. AIPAC is so powerful in the USA that if a US politician criticises Israel, he will probably loose his next election. -

It was probably just crowded because it was a Sunday and the flower show that is going on. The flower show is every year around this time. It will probably end in about another week. I never park a car there as I usually just ride my bike there and cycle a few laps around the area where bikes are permitted. Then over to Nong Bon Park for a few more laps. Nong Bon is nice because there is a lot of shade. I always enter off of Chalerm Prakiat. Whether cycling or just walking in no one has ever asked for a fee to enter nor I have seen anyone paying anywhere. Maybe that is on the other side of the park off of Srinagarindra Rd.? -

Not really. If the traffic department had posted roadway notices in the weeks before such that road users would see and had a social media campaign, then yes your point would be valid. However, the advance notice was not effective as most drivers were unaware. There were two types of conscripts: Those who had no issue with being conscripted and were prepared to do their duty when called upon and the selfish and/or cowards. The unwilling conscripted typically did non combat duties since they were not reliable and not particularly popular with those who were prepared to defend their nation. national service was a reasonable request for the people benefiting from the society to contribute something back. No. You are way off on this one. It is irresponsible to block a major artery during rush hour. There were few alternative routes. A ceremony could have been held without blocking all of the road. The ceremony was a cop out. Give the saps a ceremony so as to distract from the real issue of the failure to have prevented the tragedy. -
