The forum should be faster to browse now, since a few hours ago. We have improved and optimized the load of CSS, so the CSS is now cached up in the user browser instead of loading every time. It caches the stylesheet (CSS) to a separate text file, both in Internet Explorer, Opera and Firefox, reducing page size with around 30K.

We will save around 3GB of bandwidth each day on the server, and page loads should be faster for all users.

Your feedback is welcome!

Cheers

Not sure if I've been able to actually notice any faster load times. The last two days, my ToT connection has been as volatile as my gut (no doubt thanks to my recent sojourn to Laos).

It will probably make a big difference for those on dial-up accounts though.

Nice to see you guys always striving to make things better for the rest of us though ! :o

It does seem faster today.

I kept getting 'unable to open page' yesterday which was a bit frustrating.

I recently updated my Ipstar satellite package to 2,300 bath and I am far from impressed.
