I bought a Mileseey TR256i thermal-imager, plugs into the USB on your phone. There are many similar units around with comparable features, I had a 13% voucher for this one 

First experiments were encouraging: -

The technology proves what doggo owners have known for years; our best friends have cold noses.
Chihuahuas also use their ears as radiators.

 

 

To more mundane things.

This is our 300A shunt carrying 150A. The right-hand lug looks a little warm, certainly warmer than the other.

Could be a bad crimp, I shall re-make in the morning and we shall see how much difference it makes.

I own an "Ulefone 18T" It has a build in thermal camera. (Flir) It is easy to see where my dog is. Even in the complete dark. When back in my homecountry it is easy to see if the footvalve from a radiater is adjusted correct. In Thailand it is easy to check the water level from our water tanks. 

So many uses.... I am very happy with it!

Not a high resolution, but it does the job. I bought it to check temperatures (and problem areas) in electronic devices. I also used it to check the temperature of LED lights and of my ACs.

Not really necessary, but nice to have.

Could it be used on females if they are horny or just faking it tonight? Somebody with thermal do an experiment and report on it. 🤔

In some occasions you are able to see small hard body parts, even when they are not protruding. Further unfortunately no experience.
