Because of course the Tories have got immigration under control.

But they are championing ‘anti-woke’, so let’s see what the electorate think of their what they have to offer.

The Tories have failed on a few issues. Immigration being the main one.

That doesn't mean Labour are the answer. They'll just fail more absolutely.

Any share tips showing up in your crystal ball?

My asset management team deal with that.

As for Thai expats (I don't believe you are one), I'd suggest they transfer any GBP to THB in the next 6 months before Labour wreck the economy, as they always do.

Only a fool would think that the Great British electorate would be swayed by what ANY party says they have to offer.

The electorate will judge on past performance  and that, as we all know, is why the Tories will be heavily defeated.

As @JonnyF said there is no indication that Starmer' Labour party will perform any better; that is not the point - the Tories have fcked up sufficiently to give Starmer a free pass.

Managing the impact of BREXIT, COVID and the Russia/Ukraine conflict was a very tall and the Tories were not up to it.

I have little confidence in Starmer, and his party, but I will be the first to applaud him if he can tackle illegal immigration, manage existing immigration rules correctly, ensure adequate policing and be able to take advantage of the inevitable upturn in economic conditions and a lowering of interest rates.

Otherwise they are a massive threat to Britain.

There is no difference. They just want your vote, then they will do what they want. They do not care about the electorate other than to get your vote. They are all liberal globalists, they follow the WEF agenda. Vote Reform and the UK might be saved in a few years time.

Otherwise the UK will be a third world country in 10 years time if not soon, If not already!

That would be a big mistake. Buy Gold, Buy Bitcoin. Actually thinking about it, sounds like you know nothing as far as investing goes.

I agree Reform are the best option right now.

You'll excuse me if I don't take investment advice from randoms on expat internet forums.

I have some knowledge of the stock market but I would concede I am no expert, which I why I use a renowned asset management company to manage my investments rather than pretending to be an expert by advising others what to invest their money in on t'internet.

I wouldn't expect the UK economy to do well under a Labour government though. History shows that.

I can see how right-wing neo-conservatives, who can't come to terms with change of any sort and have an irrational fear of immigrants, might perceive Starmer as a threat..... There again, given that Starmer appears about as radical as John Major maybe I can't.

Nothing irrational about having concerns about the strain on housing, education, the NHS, the social welfare system etc.

Nothing irrational when they are turning up illegally in dinghy's, undocumented, unskilled, possibly with anti-social intolerant attitudes to women, homosexuals etc.

We don't all have a martyr complex that requires constant validation via irresponsible policies that put the indigenous population at risk.

I agree with your first two paragraphs.

However, we don't all have paranoid tendencies which assume that anyone originating from another country, who might follow a different religion, is by definition a threat to the host culture and people.

What is this BS about an asset management company? You really think that is going to impress anyone on this forum. If you really had money you wouldn't need to talk about it. Certainly not on a stupid forum. Oh you don't take advice  from random expats on a forum But doesn't stop you from telling us to convert GBP to Thai Baht.

Full of BS.

Yes, that's why I used the word possibly as opposed to "by definition" as you used.

I don't consider using an asset management company a brag. It's like saying I have a bank account or a mobile phone, it's just a statement of fact and I assume most people would have these things.

If you think it is something to brag about it says more about you than it does about me.

Bull<deleted>. You are the one bragging not me. It's the fact you need to mention it on this form. Not that you do or don't use a managment company.

Would you agree that most Muslim immigrants to the UK are not a threat to the fabric of British society?

I would argue that most do not wish to assimilate into British culture, which does have a negative affect.

I doubt Jews appreciate them driving through London shouting for their daughters to be raped either.

Then we get the brutal attacks on homosexuals like this one in Canada.

All in the name of diversity.

Interesting usage of the word "most" there.   There is a teacher from Batley still in hiding in fear for his life for committing "blasphemy" in 21st century UK.   How do you square that particular circle?   Why is it that the politicians and the police are too cowardice to act against this particular group?   They are fearful of them, that is why.   If anyone blasphemes against literally any other religion do you think that person would need to be fearful of their lives and taken into protective custody?

Since they are allowed to introduce an implicit blasphemy law by threatening to kill someone without consequence (just one example) then I'd say for sure this is a threat to British or any western society.  Wouldn't you?

IMO people no longer vote FOR anyone, but rather vote AGAINST someone/ party.

It's also my opinion that the present political system is broken beyond redemption and needs to be replaced with something that actually works for the benefit of the voters, and not those with their snouts in the trough.
