Dr. Kevin Cannard No Symptoms of Parkinson's Disease in Biden's Neurological Exam

In response to the growing concerns, President Biden's doctor released findings from an "extremely detailed neurological exam" to address these issues head-on. The New York Times recently reported that Dr. Kevin Cannard, a neurologist specializing in movement disorders, visited the White House eight times from last summer through to the spring of this year. Dr. Cannard's background includes publishing a paper on Parkinson’s disease, which fueled rumors about the president's health.

This prompted a response from Biden's personal doctor, Kevin O'Connor, who released a letter detailing the president's health status. Dr. O'Connor stated, “President Biden has not seen a neurologist outside of his annual physical,” emphasizing that the results from Biden’s recent exam were reassuring and showed no signs of any neurological disorders such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson's disease.

Dr. O'Connor's letter also clarified that Dr. Cannard, in his role as Neurology Consultant to the White House, treats various individuals at the White House Medical Clinic and has held regular neurology clinics in support of the numerous active-duty members assigned to the White House. This explanation aimed to dispel any misinterpretations of Dr. Cannard’s visits as being solely for President Biden.

Despite these clarifications, Biden’s health remains a contentious topic. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that Biden had seen a neurologist three times as part of his annual physical exams.

Election 2024 Biden Health

Nonetheless, the concerns have not been entirely alleviated. US Representative Adam Smith, a prominent Democrat and the top Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee, used a CNN interview to call on Biden to reconsider his candidacy for re-election. This call comes on the heels of concerns raised by some of Biden’s closest political allies, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who have also expressed doubts about his health.

President Biden responded to these concerns by reaffirming his commitment to his re-election campaign in a letter to Democrats in Congress. He vowed to stay in the race against Donald Trump, stating he is "firmly committed" to his campaign. In a statement that underscores his resolve, Biden emphasized his readiness and determination to continue serving as president.

Donald Trump, never one to shy away from commenting on his opponents, voiced his expectations regarding Biden's political future. Speaking to Sean Hannity on Fox News, Trump said, “He’s got an ego, and he doesn’t want to quit. He doesn’t want to do that. It just looks to me like that’s what he wants.” Trump’s comments reflect a belief that Biden’s personal pride will keep him in the race despite the mounting pressures.

The scrutiny of Biden’s health was significantly heightened after his debate performance against Trump, which many perceived as lackluster. Descriptions of his performance ranged from “an unmitigated disaster” to “a slow-motion car crash,” sparking further debate about his cognitive and physical fitness for the presidency. These criticisms have added to the pressure on Biden to publicly address and prove his health and ability to serve effectively.

Nevertheless, Biden's medical team remains firm in their assessment that he is in good health, with no indications of any serious neurological conditions. As the 2024 election approaches, the president's health will undoubtedly continue to be a point of intense scrutiny and debate, influencing not only his campaign but also the broader political dynamics. In the face of these challenges, Biden’s camp is working to assure the public and his party of his capability to lead, while his opponents leverage health concerns as a critical point of attack in the high-stakes battle for the White House.

Hours after a White House press briefing turned combative over questions about a neurologist's repeated visits to the White House, President Joe Biden's physician said that those appointments were not related to the president.

He clearly has dementia. Not Parkinsons.

Are we going to get daily announcements of the issues he doesn't have in some lame attempt to re-assure people about why he cannot string a sentence together and walks with a short, shaky gait?

Thursday - The President does not have MS.

Friday - The President does not have Chicken Pox

Saturday - The President does not have piles.

Laughable.

To be true , Biden was done after his debate with Trump . ( not that Trump won ...)

Now , it is denials and excuses only .

He becomes a burden if he won't leave .

Time is running out ...

This election is not only important for the US , it will define the future of "world politics ".

Economical and social consequences will be felt around the world ...

OK, then if there is absolutely nothing wrong with him, the report saying he could not be prosecuted for the documents removal case should be withdrawn and he be in court for exactly what Trump is charged for.  You cannot have no prosecution due to his brains gone AND then say there is nothing wrong with him !

I'm sure someone will be here soon to claim this document isn't credible, as he did with the document issued in regards to Trump's cognitive test.

If not Parkinson then it must be one of the following: Posterior cortical atrophy, Huntington's, frontotemporal, Alzheimer's or vascular. Or he’s smoking too much dope.

Given that apparently none of us have been claiming he had a stroke, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson's disease, that is somewhat ludicrous, IMO. What we probably all want to know is if he is mentally competent to function as POTUS for 4 more years, as from where I am it looks to be just a matter of time before he becomes resident in an institution for the senile.

The answer is no, absolutely not.

Biden's sharp as a tack, he just got back from a long trip and had jet-lag. He also had a cold, which combined with the jet-lag makes his poor performance and lying understandable.

On that I agree, even that Trump did not win. Had there been an even average debater as opponent, the media would be at lengths to report how Trump lost. IMO it wasn't even a debate, as Biden was obviously so befuddled without a teleprompter telling him what to say, that it was a one sided contest

And you claim to be an American?

From the spelling and grammar in all your posts it's obvious you must be an imported one then, hence your support for the lefties

Simple test. What is 25 times 25? A normal person can do it in their head in 5 to 10 seconds.

C'mon man he just had a bad day. He had a cold ( or was it the flu? Perhaps it was covid ), or he had been traveling too much, or he had been up all night looking for the top secret papers he knew he had lying around somewhere, or, or, or, or. Oh never mind, he may have had a bad performance as he couldn't see the teleprompter from where he was, but he's a good man, really fit- you should see him running up and down stairs in the gym at home, and so mentally competent he solved Rubik's cube in 10 seconds flat. You know, he's totally ready for another 4 years, just as long as he has his morning naps and his afternoon naps, and goes to bed early after his warm milk.

All Trump's campaign has to do from now on is put 30 second ads on tv and social media of Biden looking befuddled during the debate. There is no walking that back, no matter who says he is fit to lead for another 4.

"I'm a Democrat," Pitts said during the interview. "It's just, [Biden] is not a hard case."

Pitts listed a number of symptoms he said were easily identifiable, even by visible confirmation.

"I could've diagnosed him from across the Mall," Pitts said.

Who would you believe?  The guy whose job depends on saying the right thing, or a random expert who has no skin in the game?

Keep in mind, the original interview was on NBC, not Fox.

By the time November comes around all his staff will be scrambling for the exits, including this lying doctor. Plus Parkinson's patients, if they live long enough, get dementia.

Yes, everyone can see that Biden is clearly much more mentally astute and energetic than Trump. :cheesy:

Who discredited Dr. Jackson? Would it be the same press that has been telling us that the clips of Biden as a befuddled old man were fake? Got it.

Funny Obama was stupid enough to select Jackson as his doctor.

Both old and have health challenges although Trump displayed much more overwhelming evidence of dementia.

He was demoted from rear admiral to captain. That's how much he has dropped from grace.

Jackson was an asset during Bush and Obama but declined to troubling behavior under Trump. Perhaps the reason is bad boss and toxic workplace

You claimed he had been discredited, so again, who discredited Dr. Jackson?

Do you think the press has truthful about Biden's condition?

Do you not understand the press was lying when they told us that the clips of Biden as a befuddled old man were fake?

Now that you lifted the laughing emoji and come to your senses, I agree with you.

500 licensed mental health professions including best selling authors and well respected psychologists signed a petition warning that Trump has clear signs of dementia. His confusion about reality, mistaken names, continouly incoherency and straying from the subjects that he started are overwheming evidence.

The press has equally harsh on Biden's mental condition. He is old but I have confidence that he will run a good election campaign against Trump if the party delegates nominated him and not allow the party elites to dictate the outcome.

No, they had the "500 licensed mental health professions including best selling authors and well respected psychologists signed a petition warning that Trump has clear signs of dementia." back in 2017, too, remember?
