I watched the video and noticed that most of the people making trouble looked like middle eastern and African people! So much for the UK's open borders!! 😫

It's like the Brits who settle in the Costa Del Sol. The Spain expat communities like to have Brit style pubs, cooked English breakfasts etc.

Likewise people coming from troubled areas in the ME and Africa try to make the UK just like home.

So why the Express focus on immigrants and little if any information on the events surrounding the start of the riots?

They're probably actually trying to play it down.  If they said that the Police had to take abused children away from an immigrant family, so all the other immigrants attacked the police and started a riot, you must be able to see how that makes it sound worse?

They're probably desperately trying to find a way of describing the group (they can't say "a group of people"), without saying "immigrants".

I think they were referring to social services, however the news channels in the UK seem very reluctant to mention any details about the kids they seized , I think there may have been more than one,  The ethnicity of the perpetrators is not being mentioned either, like we don't know already,Its a dead giveaway when they start talking about "communities"

Its unbelievable that  they tried to make that bit sound almost  positive.   It is not "known for"   it is  notorious for its "diverse" population  awful place , absolute Sh1t40le

Yeah, nothing says "diverse population" like:

large immigrant population primarily comprising British Asians of Pakistani origin

nothing diverse about that really, just a polite way of describing a stinking ghetto

I look forward to "your" new, fab, Gov sorting out the UK and your excuses for them.................😂

They have not got off to a very successful start,  according to the news over 2000 have turned up since starmer took over,

When I saw the people attacking  that police car , hitting the car with sticks and things , it remined me of the Palestinians attacking dead Jews in Gaza on Oct 7 th .

On both occasions I thought to myself "why are they hitting  inanimate objects"

Then it emerged that there is a connection between the Palestinians in Gaza and the People in the UK hitting the police car

The Uk media are as usual struggling to cover this incident for fear of causing offence , as usual.    Despite their being no doubt as to what people are involved, several videos show us all we need to know, the media cannot bring themselves to mention their specific nationality.   Bearing in mind the historical activities involving kids that a lot of these people were involved in its no surprise that there are few details being released about why kids were being taken in to care presumably for their own protection

He knows nothing about these events.

And the Daily Express are selective in what they want their readers to know.

Lots of ink expended talking about immigrants while skipping over the event that kicked this off ‘children being taken into care’.

yes I'm sure that there is a perfectly good excuse for them trashing the places we allow them to live free of charge, I just can't remember it ,  Damn this Alzheimer's

That wasn't the reason for the violence .

You are making excuses for them .

Even having high unemployment isn't a reason for violence and destruction

People who have nothing to lose can be dangerous.

It's the way it is. Anyway, who cares about a bus?

No, just based on the OP where it stated the place has high unemployment.

Why would the article mention it? Not that the journalism here is always great, but ...

The guy is on camera, so he will pay the price and do jail time.

Are you using this incident to make sweeping generalizations about immigrants in Europe?

Or perhaps violent residents are causing high levels of unemployment?  That's happening in Blue cities around the USA, where businesses are leaving due to high crime, leaving the residents without jobs or services.   I'll bet the businesses and the jobs would come back if crime went down.

Don’t waste time or effort on that, it’s not the topic of discussion.

Not baseless.  This is quite common.

I didn't choose anything.  It's simply the logical conclusion.

You seem to be allowing your feelings to influence your thinking.
