Creative Garden Ideas

Featured Replies

My little Thai friend likes to reorganize the garden on a regular basis.

Now I'm stuck with a long narrow bare area of soil and devoid of ideas.

What can I do to pretty this area up?

I do have 2 small dogs so nothing that they can destroy.............

A suggestion is to rip out the synthetic turf, line the transition at the edge of the path with your existing rocks, put some plastic down then add decorate river pebble to the area.

She has spent a good few hours over the last few weeks removing all the big rocks from behind the tree line and removing all the decorative pebbles from in front and re using them else where!

To be fair the pebbles had been down over 12 years and had been buried during various planting over the years and looked a bit grubby. She washed them in bulk and I presumed she was going to return them to the same place but they ended up reinforcing other areas that already had pebbles on...........

Ah OK. Then how about some decorative grass then. It needs to be managed but can look quite nice without taking over and covers a lot of area.

Caution Dude!

Messing with a woman's garden can lead to serious consequences.

Compliments and encouragement is the safest way to go.
