Riots by bidens/ harris new vision for America

Yeah so how bad do the candidates have to get before people start realizing that the whole election process is a joke.

And that the country is not a "democracy", but an aristocracy in disguise. The country is run by the billionaire class, who are not stupid at all.

But they shove clowns in people's faces, and people vote for these clowns thinking they're in a democracy.

I'm gonna vote for the tallest midget in the circus. My midget is better than your midget!

Imho, I see the USA at a crossroad and the USA of yesteryear, having been called the leader of the free world, gone forever. If the Democrats win the election I think they will rely on The Constitution, as a guide, much less and pave the way for a new one, perhaps favouring stronger philosophical ties to a Socialist Republic. I would not be surprised if some states would try to break free of the Union. If the Republicans win The Constitution might become more important with perhaps a hardening towards centre and far Left which will have its own repercussions.

The United States belongs to the people, not elected law makers. The constitution will certainly not be overthrown without a fight.

What is sad, is the political campaign have all the ingredients of a build up to an American Wrestling fight. It is a freak show

I completely agree with that, and I'm not taking sides. I think both sides are a freak show, and I think it's somewhat symptomatic of a nation and a culture that has been gorging on reality TV for two decades, and more recently TikTok, the most toxic social media platform ever invented. It is dumbing down the population to an extraordinary degree. America has never been dumber, in it's history.

Put aside all the woke. dei, transrights, BLM and other distractions and look at the facts. Biden appointed Janet Yellen as Secretary of the Treasury, a diehard conservative who spent her time as FED chairman funneling easy money into the stock market, making the rich ever richer. For her services, she was rewarded with millions of dollars in "speaking engagement" and is now a multimillionaire.

BLM went up in smoke. The movement leaders were exposed as corrupt and it accomplished nothing. DEI, the new affirmative action, which was struck down by the Supreme Court, is already dying. Remember the "me too" movement? Gone with the wind and with it Cancel Culture. Wokeness? It hasn't made a dent in anything that really matters.

Society is still ruled by a cabal of billionaires, financeers, and elite conservative Americans. Donald Trump ain't gonna change that. He gave one of the largest tax cuts in history to the  ultra-rich like himself. They're now paying on average 12 percent in taxes.

There is no radical Maoist, Leninist], Communist movement threatening to take over society. Most young people don't have time for that nonsense. They can barely afford to live. The idea that either Biden or Harris is a radical leftist is absurd. AOC is the new Nancy Pelosi. The rich continue to control both the Democratic and the Republican parties while the herd is busy arguing about things that don't matter.

You've been fooled.

Thank you. Agree with most of what you stated. On a certain level it doesn't matter if it's Trump or Harris. America is still going in the same direction, nobody's ever going to make it great again, Trump failed the first time, the Biden economy is questionable, it's on the decline, and that decline is going to continue.

And if you start to take into account the massive and historic correction that is coming, and that is unavoidable, whoever gets elected is going to preside over some pretty dark times. And they will likely be blamed for it though the genesis of it started a long time ago, and the enormous amount of hot air in the grossly over inflated balloon eventually had to be released.

Not at all, I lived in California during the time she was district attorney in San Francisco and attorney general in California, and I disagreed with a lot of her policies.

Is there a politician that we don't disagree with some of their policies?

Who would had been your first choice that you would totally agree with. Kamala Harris  was perfectly positioned to be the first and realistically, at this point the best choice.

Politics is the art of the compromise, to get to dance you have to first make it to the dance. All the pie in the sky will not get you there, Obama compromised Biden to the Clintons to get to the dance.

I also question how effective she was as vice president, though an argument could easily be made that very few vice presidents accomplish all that much.

And that would be a safe argument. IMO if Kamala did not accomplish much , its the fault of Biden . Power is an elixir that is hard to give up. and plays tricks with your mind. You enter in all sort  of rationalizations as to why you and you along is indispensable to the job.

The cemeteries are full with people who once thought they were indispensible.Yet the world went on.

IMO it was a tactical mistake of Biden not to engage Harris more, he should had considered the possibility that  at his age, he might be a one term president. In fact when he was running against trump he said that he would be a one term president and "a bridge between trump and normalcy" . but as i said Powered is an elixir and hard to give up.

Harris is the best possible choice, I am afraid there is no other, She will make a fine president.

The downhill decline of the American Empire started 40 years ago and is simply continuing, regardless who gets elected. There's no way Trump is going to turn it around, especially with his protectionist import policies. If anything that's going to have the opposite effect and put a huge damper on economic growth.

I tend to agree with you that she's the only choice whether or not she makes a fine president remains to be seen but it doesn't matter how bad she is there's no way she could be as bad as Trump, especially a second term of Trump.

Well, a big problem for Democrats is that a lot of Americans kind of like the old vision for America. They will look at the Trump years vs. the Biden years and conclude that the former were better. Lower inflation, lower costs for basic goods, much lower housing and mortgage costs, etc.  The esoteric issues like American position in the world and so on will not matter so much.

And what kind of 'fight' do you envisage? If some states try to become 'independent' perhaps that would be one interpretation of 'fight'.

I might agree with some of what you said if she was running against anyone but Trump, but in my opinion I've never seen a bigger airhead running for office in my lifetime, and I'm including Mondale and Dukakis. I think he's a worse candidate than both of them. He is a highly skilled huckster and charlatan, and he definitely has an awful lot of people under his spell. But he is semi-senile, an old 78, a narcissistic sociopath, (look it up, he has all 10 classic qualities of one), and I believe he's melting down and he's going to lose this thing.

He seems compos mentis to me, granted the assignation attempt has affected him. He does seem to repeat himself a lot in his speeches. Bu I would also say that people are polarised against the Dems or Reps depending on which camp they fall into. There are too many geriatrics in American politics. they seem to hold sway in both parties. They all need booting out.

Anyway, we shall see in November which one will win. But I think Trump has the momentum behind him, more so than Harris can muster between now and the 5th November!

Do you really believe that the imperialist autocratic left would let States go independent? Not a chance, take a look at the left’s historical track record, they want full control and submission of the populace.

isn't that objective confirmed for the Right by Project 2025, by appointing staff who are loyalists to trump first and foremost. In other words anti Constitutional.

Yes, the odds ARE changing. In Vegas, it used to be 66-30 in favour of Trump over Biden. Now it's 64-33 in favour of Trump over Harris.

Big changes indeed.
