It's called "safeguarding".  It doesn't mean that everyone is a predator, it just means that all "practical" steps are taken to prevent (for example) a predatory male in a dress using female changing rooms.  It doesn't mean all men who wear dresses are predatory.   Obviously separating gay men from straight men in toilets or changing rooms is not practical, but straight men are not in danger from gay men (even predatory ones) in the same way that females are.

I can see that. But by that logic a transperson who presents as a "man" could require a safe space  from predatory males in mens rooms 

 

I just think we should work to eliminate the sexualization of nudity and excretory functions.

Where do you think Wiley, who is a man who gave birth to a baby should go to pee ?

it would depend on how old the son was at the time of exposure.

Men cannot give birth.  This is very basic stuff.

In more woke places a spare room can surely be found for persons identifying as a cat, a dog or a different gender. If they have a bathroom for disabled, just change the sign on the door. It's not as though there will be enough of them to need a larger room.

Sexual dimorphism is a subject of biology but there is really nothing such as a man or a woman in the Humanist context

All of this pro and con about transgender has a lot to do with where we grew up and what was

our culture.

Personally i see nothing wrong with (all) genders changing in the same room.

If you are worried about your child seeing a nude person from the opposite sex then i see that as a lack in upbringing.

See countries like Sweden and Finland where nudity is far more accepted then in the USA.

Kids over there see their parents and other people nude in the saunas all the time.

Children are raised to accept it as normal and won't even look up when they see a nude person.

That is the way it should be i think.

Do you really think that kids these days have not seen nude people?

The internet is full of it !

The thing is, the world is changing,a lot.

We need to adjust because the "good old days" are gone and never will come back.

I hear people all the time saying they want things back the way they were say 50 years ago.

They are lying!

That is why in my opinion conservative thinking is doomed,you don't have to like it but we all have to deal with things we don't like right?
