Whilst she was dealing with an issue multiple Administrations had failed to find an enduring resolution (great deal of prior US interference in Central America, including arming certain factions , during her time there was a lessening of illegal crossing from Central American countries countries. As a non Amercan with no election hand in the strange game  I am as aware of the bogus accusations as most observers of the disinformation such as yourself seem prone to persist in ejaculating dribbling perpetually.

Harris  was tasked with trying to identify the cause of the desire of the migrant masses to head for/to the USA.

A task predetermined to be a failure in real terms due to the mandated denial of political agitations the USA employs globally to maintain a false superiority in all aspects of national/domestic stability thus creating humanitarian conditions that a populace will in desperation try to escape.

Of course Harris "failed" because the fine details of her instructed role was not to identify cause  but to record the most  effective  destructive policies.e

For reasons obvious and applicable to whichever political flavour of duped/purchased  political majority persuasion "religiously" avoids honesty.

The AP article I linked to above was published in January, 2023.  It took the DHS 18 months to figure out there may be fraud going on?  With today's database technology and AI, they should have ferreted it out the 2nd time a fake telephone number, SSN, or address was used.  Allowing that the first may have been a typo.  That's either incompetence, or willful neglect for political purposes.
