Enlighten us please. What is so stellar about Vance's record compared to Walz, given one passed out as a master sergeant, and the other as a corporal?

He did an awful lot of writing as a corporal.......cramp can be quite debilitating.

Trump probably wishes Vance would develop cramp in his tongue.

He's an absolute gift to both Harris and Walz.

Vance served in a war zone.

Vance completed his full enlistment.

Vance was a regular, not a "weekend warrior".

As I have said, Walz server in the Guard honourably. But let down his unit in the end. As a senior NCO, he should have shown more responsibility and less selfishness.

Vance served as a journalist/reporter.

Permit me to doubt he was ever at risk.

Tim Walz had been in the Guard for 24 years when he retired. How long did you want him to stay in?

It's not about me. It's about his own commitment. Stop trying to offload Walz's lies and exaggerations on those of us simply reading his record.

Your man Trump dodged the draft, what does that tell you about his character?

Trump is an utter failure as a human being and unreliable, self-centered narcissist as a political candidate. He's all that, but he didn't try to pose as a soldier or make fake claims about a war record. The horrible characters of these two presidential teams, btw, is another reason to vote for RFKjr.

The first female USMC officer killed in Iraq was also in the same branch as Vance (Public Affairs). Hit an IED while escorting civilian media into Ramadi

All of Iraq was considered a war zone in 2005. Ever hear of something called an insurgency? That is why everyone in the country was awarded combat/danger pay.  There were no safe areas.  Much like Afghanistan, where I had 2 family members serving.

Moot point though, because Walz ensured that HE would never be at risk by quitting before his unit deployed.

The level of ignorance of the military in this discussion is truly astonishing...

His draft IS a war record. And bone spurs a fake claim. He didn't try. He just did.

Do you have medical records showing the bone spurs was a fake claim? He got a legal deferral, just like Biden. It’s not like he fled to Canada the way Clinton did.

You bootlicking Harris cultists crack me up.

Reading the moronic posts on here prompts me to repeat Margot Asquiths quote, “What a pity, when Christopher Columbus discovered America, that he ever mentioned it.”

And yet he signs and executive order, for children to have gender therapy, even alignment surgery, with or without parents consent.

Not the wishes of the citizens, and not passed or approved by state representatives.

Again, not true. You are repeating a fabrication that a Republican state legislature member had circulated.  On the contrary, the order since replaced by a law enacted by the state legislature, protected parental rights to seek treatment.  Have you read the actual Executive Order?

Please cite the  section of the order that supports your claim.  To help you out, since  it does not appear you have read the  instruction, it is Executive order 23-03 and is found here  https://mn.gov/governor/assets/EO 23-03 Signed and filed_tcm1055-568332.pdf

Please  show me where the Order says what you claim it says and I will gladly acknowledge your point.

There are no medical exams to support the Trump claim of bone spurs. His own family repudiated the claim of bone spurs.

Joe Biden was classified as 1-Y. This meant that he was available for draft and could be drafted in the event of national emergency. His childhood asthma had made him unsuitable for long term active service.  This situation is different than the absolute  deferment Trump received.

Clinton did not go to Canada to avoid the  draft. He never went to Canada. He did join the ROTC like many of his generation and played the draft deferral game. Clinton did lucked out  during the  Nixon initiated draft lottery when he  obtained a  draft number that was not called up.

George Bush joined the Texas Air National Guard and did his 6 years of service to avoid active service. Air National Guards were not used in the Vietnam war and were kept  for national defense and  search and rescue.

None of the above is impressive. The difference is that some people carry on as if they were great military leaders. The reality is that the command officers who have had  active service  histories, have zero respect for people who have not served when they could have.

I don't have access to Google as I am in China today. That means I can't research your unsourced claims, sorry.

But you can back up everything with sources when you get back from China... hahaha... we will wait... but will not hold our breath.

Bone spurs don't heal.

Does Trump still have bone spurs? Can he play golf?

I see, you have telepathic powers which can determine Walz's motivations in quitting when he did. 24 years of service is not enough for you.

OTOH, you support a person who evaded military service by claiming he had bone spurs, which apparently did not prevent him playing thousands of rounds of golf thereafter.

That's not ignorant, that's <deleted> in the head.

When someone plays thousands of rounds of golf after claiming bone spurs, I smell a rat. A big one.

Some things are a liability when in a war zone but are just an inconvenience in everyday life... but you wouldn't know because you are neither a doctor nor a veteran... At my age now I have no feeling in my feet due to neuropathy however i still play golf three times a week and I walk instead of taking a cart... BUT I would not be fit for military service... something that you would know if you had served... what was your excuse for avoiding the service?

Perhaps Trump was not fit for military service, for a different reason.

Someone who calls those KIA suckers and losers, doesn't want to be seen with disabled veterans, is not fit to polish their boots.

You are just making excuses for him. Pathetic clutching at straws, while others denigrate a person who served his country for 24 years. It's disgusting.
