Pattaya Airways Co., Ltd. (Pattaya Airways) receives the AOC from CAAT

Thai cargo airline Pattaya Airways this week, has received its air operator certificate (AOC) and also secured a deal with ACE Global Logistics Solutions.

The airline said it had taken nine months to secure its AOC and hopes to launch operations later this year.

“Today, we proudly step forward to receive the AOC from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), a testament to our unwavering capability and high standards in aviation,”

“Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey—this success is yours too! As we receive this prestigious certification, we are more equipped than ever to elevate your experience in the skies of Thailand.”

The airline plans to operate a range of domestic flights in Thailand with additional services into neighbouring Southeast Asia, using ATR 72-500 freighters, and it hopes to eventually operate a fleet of five aircraft.

As well as securing an AOC, the airline also this week announced the signing of an air cargo transportation partnership agreement with ACE Global.

“This agreement represents a strong collaboration between the two companies, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of air cargo systems,”

“The partnership will leverage the resources and expertise of both parties to provide high-quality cargo services that effectively meet the needs of customers in the ASEAN region.

“Additionally, this collaboration will expand the business networks of both companies, positioning them for broader opportunities in the future.” the company said.
