On August 17, at 17:00 a fire was reported at the Paradise Hotel in the Mak Khaeng subdistrict of Mueang district, Udon Thani.

Rescue Foundation personnel, ambulances  along with municipal fire vehicles and crews were dispatched and on arrival found smoke issuing from the front of the hotel.

The fire is believed to have started in a room on the second floor, and responders in breathing apparatus entered the premises for firefighting, supported by other responders using ladders to access the room.

Responders are currently working to control the blaze, and there is no confirmation of any injuries.
