Because Swift's music represents a certain sense of goodness to her followers, a sense of decency and good behaviour and being respectful to others, and she is focusing their attention on the fact that Harris is much more consistent with the notion than Trump. I am sure some woman not sure may think again and may influence their partners a bit.. -

Taylor Swift's post leads to uptick in visits to voter registration website, federal agency says Taylor Swift’s call to encourage people to register to vote may be having an impact, according to the General Services Administration (GSA), a federal agency that provides government services. “As of 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 11, there have been 337,826 visitors to vote.gov referred from the custom URL created and shared by Ms. Swift,” a spokesperson for the GSA, told CNN. The debate thread.
You are going to find few details from any candidate when you have two minutes to answer a question. High level goals, sure, not policy details, and therefore too little information to compare in this debate format. You can contrast yourself and that happened with (Abortion, Climate change, National security, Healthcare, Tarrifs, etc) but some details on policy can only be found on campaign websites and campaign literature. Besides, Harris had two major goals, to let the bombastic Trump out of the box (therefore missing all his opportunities to speak about things he should have spoken about instead) and introducing herself as a viable Presidential candidate who is still new to the majority of Americans. Trump had an opportunity to make this a policy discussion but people wanting to murder babies after birth, immigrants and their diet, crowd sizes, using Orban as a job reference, is where he went instead. You want policy details and comparisons, voters need to dig much deeper. Give them 5 minutes to discuss a topic, then yes. However, politicians will quickly shift to what they want to talk about. There should be some buzzer that sounds when they do! 🙂 -

Had Britain not been a base off the coast of Nazi ruled Europe for American war supplies to be on shipped to Russia, Russia would likely have failed to defeat the Germans, and Stalin would probably have moved beyond the Urals, where the Germans would have ignored him. The allied invasion of D Day would never have happened, and Europe would likely still be German ruled. Don't forget that a Briton in Britain developed the computer which defeated Enigma, which allowed supplies from American to even cross the Atlantic. You may claim that Stalin could have defeated the Germans without American arms, but I vehemently disagree on that. -
