They defeated the Nazis in 1945, and are well on their way to defeating the Nazis in 2024.

LOL. Is defeating the Nazi an invention or an original conception? Really? How much vodka did you already gobble today, Ivan?

By the way, without the US aid (the so called Lend-Lease to the Eastern Front) the Soviets would have been crushed by the Nazis.

You are deflecting.

Your question was "Can you name a single Russian innovation that is contributing to the well-being of humanity as a whole?"

It was not "Can you name a single Russian innovation that is contributing to the well-being of Russians?"

The kalashnoff rifle

Tchaikovsky, Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov, Mussorgsky, Pushkin,  Tolstoy just off the top of my head.  They've given us enough.

Russia is an economic nobody with wannabe great power ambitions. It's a dwarf who wants to punch way beyond its weight (hence the frustration and inferiority complexes).

and yet they are winning in the east. Not bad for a dwarf fighting against the best weapons the west can send the Ukrainians.

I’ve been to Moscow and St. P quite a few times on business. Nice country, good food, great architecture, long history and culture. The people come across as rather gruff but very open and warm hearted once you get to know them. Very passionate people, they live for today and not worry too much about tomorrow. I guess this could be due in part to their history.

Oh, did I mention the girls? Lovely creatures, they are…

That describes the US more than Russia. You know, the country that has caused more wars than any other country since the Korean war.

You mean the country that has committed more genocide than any other, starting from the indigenous native Indians to present day Palestinians. In between, lots of Iraqis, Afghans, Syrians, Libyans, Yemenis, Vietnamese, Japanese etc etc.

When I write "Russia can only compete in a race to who is more violent, who is ready to sacrifice more human flesh on the altar of power" I mean it, literally.

The only products Russia exports successfully, besides commodities, raw materials, and oil and gas, are weapons of mass destruction and mercenaries.

Someone herewith mentioned "girls", but I have too much respect for my Russian friends to follow suit.

Anything else is just talk...

Why do they need to export any more than that ?  they can use the the money and/or barter  for most everything that they need in exchange  with any country willing to trade of which there are many.

Ignored of course that they still provide much needed service to the International Space Station..

Russia's space agency Roscosmos launched Progress 89 to the ISS atop a Soyuz rocket on Wednesday from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The spacecraft is carrying 2.8 tons of supplies for the space station's seven person Expedition 71 crew and two Boeing Starliner astronauts also aboard.

The supplies aboard Progress 89 include 2,648 pounds (1,201 kilograms) of food, gear and other dry goods, 2,094 pounds (949 kg) of propellant, 926 pounds (420 kg) of water and 110 pounds (50 kg) of nitrogen.   ( how dare he the evil ORK !! )
