Trump's Political Strategy: Shifting Blame for Afghanistan to Harris

I'd say it's Harris's to lose, but she may yet do something on the lines of Clinton's "deplorables" comment. There is yet time for her mask to slip and the real Harris to be seen.

If the press was as nasty to her as it is to Trump, she wouldn't stand a chance, IMO. They are covering for her big time.

How do you cover sympathetically for a felon who bangs porn stars, cheats contractors, calls fallen soldiers suckers and losers, grifts sneakers and Bibles, and claims he has the biggest crowds? Who has 91 criminal indictments waiting in the wings? The media can only report the facts it gets. Nothing to do with nasty.

If I wrote Trump up as a Hollywood scriptwriter and submitted it for making a film, every producer  would be kicking me out of their offices, for being too preposterous.

Perhaps Bollywood might be interested. Hard to say  whether it would be comedy, tragedy or dystopian. Black comedy anyone?

Excellent response from you fully explaining why you consider it's nonsense.

Keep up the good work, as I'm agog to see your next contribution to the vibrant and informative conversation on the forum.

Yeah well I figured I'd match the level and quality of your posts. No need to post anything more than that in responding to your nonsense

And that was a very poor decision, which flew in the face of his pretending to have respect for the Armed Forces.

If it wasn’t for those foot spurs he would have gallantly served and you probably would have won that war with fearless Trump leading the troop into battle against the Communists.

Hillary was a terrible campaigner. So far, Harris has been amazing. I think she is a quick study and is adapting, something Trump is incapable of. He is a fossil.

Apparently amazing at saying nothing and making it sound like something. The consummate politician, and that is not a compliment.

Check your facts. He doesn't do any logistics planning in or for the military, he just sets policy direction. There is a whole section of tge military responsible for the logistics. You pathetic in your opinion that he sacrificed lives for a photo op and meme.

The POTUS is CIC, which means he is responsible for what happens. If incapable of that he shouldn't be POTUS. You have plenty of excuses for your hero. You blame Trump despite him not being CIC at the time.

What has been amazing about Harris' campaign?

By "adapting", do you mean flipping on all of her policies until after the election?

Yet no one cares that Biden and Clinton both dodged the draft.

He does not do any of the logistic coordination for deployment or withdrawal, that's handled within the lower echelon ranks and there are specific detachments responsible, They make the decisions on what to send and what to bring back and its not even discussed with POTUS. Just like he does not load the backpacks or drive the tanks or fly the planes. You dont know much about how the govt or military  works and who actually does which jobs. The POTUS gives the General Orders but thats it. Does he carry the burden of "blame" for any and all things right or wrong during his Presidency, yeah. But your ignoring the fact that Trump made the agreements with the Taliban not the Afghan govt and pulled the majority of troops out (13000) leaving a ghost detail of some 2500 that came out under Biden. Get all the facts and stop posting bs that you know nothing about.

Exactly. Biden just told them to be out by 9/11 and went to beach. Not his fault.

How many people were fired as a result of the debacle?

"factcheck", that's hilarious.

Plenty of other sites of your choosing have the same info. Just google it or are you afraid? Unfortunately, you're not hilarious.  Dont cry to much or try to deflect again now that you have the correct info and not the convoluted drivel you try to claim that comes from the trumpette sheep.

No one on the left cared about it when were on the ballet. They only care when it's a Republican.

That's what you and factcheck said. Biden had nothing to do with it.

Do you care at all the Biden lied about the servicemen men killed as a result of the withdrawal? No, you do not.

But you do get all bent about Trump wreath-laying ceremony for them when Gold-Star families invited Trump, but not Biden or Harris.

" What a lot of Trump supporters don't seem to understand is that he had an opportunity to negotiate directly with the Afghan government, and instead he sidetracked them and decided to negotiate directly with the Taliban. That was treasonous. "

He did the same with the Kurds in northern Libanon

I never said Biden had nothing to do with it, He moved forward with trumps withdrawal but added an extension as trump wanted it completed by May 1. He only had 2500 military to withdrawal, the bulk of the fiasco falls clearly on trump.

As for your other comments, How do you know what I care about or don't. You never asked me and it wasn't part of the discussion nor did I mention these new additions of yours. Again you're trying to deflect from the facts

That's a good one. Trump has completely failed when it comes to adapting to a new political opponent, and it seems as if some of his supporters have too!

He is obviously a man of great courage, as shown by him leading his people right into the Senate chamber on January 6th, as promised.

I will be out there with you, I'll be there leading the way! I am a big man and I will face down death!

She is no opponent. Dodging the press. Great to watch the despise of the US if she wins.

and you are ignoring the fact that Biden had plenty of time to modify or change or cancel Trump's agreements. He had no problem cancelling Trump's agreements with Mexico.

The sitting POTUS is responsible for what happens on his watch, and can't weasel out of that by blaming someone else.

Did you mean the "demise" of the US, or that other countries will come to despise the US if she wins? IMO both.
