Great sentence

But we as academics must analyse this

The question ⁉️ is ....is it ?

Does it depends on demographic,is it asking for trouble to jog say in Jomtien at 10om compared to walking through bar areas ?

"Does it depends on demographic,is it asking for trouble to jog say in Jomtien at 10om compared to walking through bar areas ?"

Great sentence from a claimed academic.  Jesus...

Clearly not when it comes to hypocritical irony when you're in the race.

ogging in a deserted wooded park at 10pm, just asking for trouble.

It looks like he was next to the exit/entrance gate on Dongtan Beach Rd, not in a "deserted wooded park".

I'm 82 and I don't run any days. However, I swim one kilometer every other day and walk on the non swim days.

I've been around drunken Thai men many times, these guys are harmless unless provoked.

I agree with what type of people do we have on this forum, we have hostile, antagonizers, maybe the jogger was an AN forum member. 😂

Bizzare and just pathetic!

What's with Thai media always using the words "swiftly" and "promptly" when describing Police or other emergency staff arriving at the scene, if the media people weren't there super swiftly or super promptly how would they know?

It's a PR croc, just more xenophobia at play.

How did they know he was a soldier. Did he spout off about his military service? Most military won't devulge that unless there is a good reason.

Sounds like something that would embellish the story to make it sound like the attack was not that bad. ie. he's a soldier, he can take it.

Those leaving comments here who are condemning this guy for running without a shirt on you need to get a life.  I bet you haven't run a day in your life.  At least he is trying to stay in shape.  He may be jogging really really slowly, but that is more than you are doing.  Shame on you.  You need to examine your own life and figure out why you are so miserable.  You are an embarrassment to all foreigners.

I sure hope nobody gives the Thai guy a pass because he was drunk.  He needs to take personal responsibility drunk or not.

Why shouldn't he , he obviously runs at night and with out wearing a shirt simply because it would be cooler and even someone like yourself could understand that , then and again some don't have the ability.

Ignore them, they are cretins probably about to fall off their barstools.

Amazing how many people that it's perfectly acceptable to jog without a shirt.  Bare-chested is solely for the beach, not the beach promenade, not the park, not the shopping centre.  Still, there are 'bogans' on many forums......

I run every single day without a shirt.  I start sweating at step 1 and not having a shirt helps me not overheat.

Until you have ever run hard you have not earned the right to comment.

So we need more Thai bashers here, I doubt it, there are plenty here.

I'll keep up the drive, it's people like you that give the will.

I'm not here for popularity votes

It's great to see that you noticed I'm not the same Thai bashing, miserable old bastard like most here. I'm pro Thailand and its people.

I've been living in Thailand for decades and I enjoy everything about Thailand
I read all the insults and nasty comments regarding Thailand and I reckon the guy was similar to most here, just like the keyboard warriors on AN, always antagonizing others.

It's my opinion that the guy antagonized the drunk Thai to get a smack in the mouth but sadly people here are too immature, too miserable to understand the truth.

Why don't you mind your own business, Stop annoying others here and get back on topic.
