Indian Man Goes Crazy, Damages Hair Salon, Gets Violent & Strips Naked in Jail Cell

He could have been all jacked up on drugs, or he simply might be insane. There are insane and unhinged people all over the world. Ideally they would offer him some sort of psychiatric treatment but since Thailand is not really well equipped for that, the police will likely question him and let him go.

Somebody needs to help that man. He's going to die! 😂

Suggestions? He's nuts or on drugs, wait 48 hours and if he is still like that inject him with strong medication and have some Indian police officers take him on a plane to India,

More likely, you’re starting to take over Bob Smith’s spot on this forum.  That’s much worse.

And that was the latest news from the judge, jury and executioner, folks. See you next time.

Or, are you Indian, perhaps?

A chaotic scene unfolded in the heart of Bangkok, on September 4, when a foreign man, later identified as a 38-year-old Indian national, went on a rampage at a hair salon in the busy Siam Square area. Eyewitnesses described the man as tall and large, dressed in shorts, holding his shirt in his hand, and walking barefoot as he stormed into the salon.

Upon entering, he began walking around aimlessly before attempting to damage property within the salon. The staff and patrons were alarmed by his erratic behavior, with some witnesses suggesting he appeared intoxicated or mentally unstable.

As the situation escalated, bystanders and the salon staff attempted to intervene by telling him to leave, but the man reportedly ignored their demands. The situation worsened when police volunteers stationed nearby attempted to apprehend him. The man tried to flee, running into a bathroom where he bizarrely wrapped himself in a black plastic bag in place of his shirt.

The ensuing chase took the man out of the salon and onto the bustling streets of Rama 1 Road, where he was finally subdued, after a brief struggle with police officers. Fortunately, no one was harmed, and the salon sustained only minor damage.

Reporters visited the scene of the incident but found that the salon's owner was unavailable for comment. A nearby motorcycle taxi driver, who witnessed the events, described the foreigner’s strange behavior, noting that the man had been wandering around Siam BTS Station earlier in the day, carrying a small wheeled suitcase and entering various shops. He eventually made his way to the hair salon, where his rampage began.

After being taken into custody by the police, the man continued to display erratic behavior at the Pathumwan Police Station. According to the arresting officers, the man remained in a frenzied state, oscillating between moments of lucidity and incoherence. His condition made it difficult for the police to conduct a thorough investigation, including testing for substance abuse.

The man was identified as an Indian national employed as a housekeeper for a Turkish UN official. Authorities have reached out to the man's relatives and associated individuals, but as of now, no one has come forward. Despite his detention, the hair salon owner has yet to file an official complaint.

This morning, September 5, the suspect's behaviour became even more concerning when he began shouting in English from inside his cell, only to later strip naked and pace around the holding area. The officers in charge have not yet determined whether his actions are the result of drug use or a possible mental health crisis.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities awaiting contact from the suspect's relatives to assist in resolving the situation.
