That was my first thought, but I think it's more likely they'll migrate to another Euro country or the USA.  Who will eventually offer them money to leave.  Unless they tend to vote Blue.

A one way ticket, money for the bus when home and a kick in the ass! That is my wish for them! 350K!!! Are you insane! Sweden will have a thousand boats and a million wildlings from every <deleted> hole in the world on their beaches very soon if that happens! Swedes have always been a bit "dim"!

What is the matter with the west?  Close the borders to one specific group forever.

Germany have closed their borders to combat the rise of Islamist attacks. An historic move which blows the Schengen agreement apart.

Didn't make any headlines in the UK though, because they like to keep these things quiet.

Kind of off the topic, but I wonder how many expats would leave Thailand if they just waived the 20,000 baht fine for overstay, never mind a $34,000 incentive.  Edit:  Maybe sweeten the deal with a free $75 ticket to KL...

The AN Mods have posted a concurrent thread on Sweden, so I'm taking the risk of derailing this (my own) thread.

Hello Swedes.

Those folks know a good thing when they see it.  You were stupid to let them in to take over your cities...and now, guess what, they will not leave.

Since europe has in theory open borders to neighbouring euro countries difficult to regulate I have caught many European flights where I never needed to show my passport once .

In saying that certain countries Germany Austria Hungary often have big border controls but usually on main highways you don't need to be a genius to use small crossing

Maybe they forgot  to include that this only suppose to be a payment for Legal registered Migrants if they want to leave .😇
