No, it is not a fraud.  Selling an item with a mark up is perfectly normal, legal practice.

no, not when its El Trumpo, whatever he does is bad, so say the acronym derangement posse!

No, he did not claim that they are the "best in the world", nor that they are "the best watches "made".

A wise move by Trump I guess......

The watch community has largely criticized the quality of the Trump watch, with some experts comparing them to cheaply made products from discount retailers.

Just like with Trump, with you too, a careful look at the fine print is not just recommended, it's mandatory.

This is exactly wat he says in the video (timecode from 00:10 to 00:14): "this is not just any watches, it's one of the best watches made".

Which is BS. The Trump Victory Tourbillon is not one of the best watches made. Not even close.

It's an assembly of off-the-shelf components, starting from the cheapest Swiss tourbillon movement available in the marketplace, and ending with diamonds that are so cheap that it's not even worth mentioning how many carats they total.

how would you describe the watches you are selling?

I would never use such an obvious and childish argument to promote a sale.
Only an imbecile would think that saying "one of the best watches made" is enough to sell a $20,000 item for $100,000. And only someone at least as much imbecile as the salesman would buy it.

how do you salesmen sell cars or houses, by saying it's a pile of junk or dilapidated ? your derangement is getting the better of you.

It depends. If you are in business for the long run, when you sell a pile of junk, you sell it for what it is. There is a market for everything. Scrap metal can be recycled, manure can be used as fertilizer.

Snake-oil-sellers must keep on changing town, looking for new gullible customers each time.

To each the seller he deserves.

regardless, a salesman is going to hype their product in order to sell it.

As I said, "to each the seller he deserves". If you like the hype, go for it...
