Major Conservative Poll Cited by Media Secretly Worked With Trump Team

A major polling organization is reportedly giving Donald Trump’s campaign previews of its results before the public sees them.

'On Thursday, American Muckrakers posted about emails it received detailing how the conservative-leaning Rasmussen Reports, which claims to be nonpartisan, shared polling results with Trump advisers and campaign officials like Dan Scavino, Susie Wiles, and John McLaughlin. The advisers, Rasmussen, and the nonprofit organizations that pay it for polling are violating tax and election laws, according to American Muckrakers.'

Ask me if I'm surprised about the above report regarding the ever-Trump supporting/leaning Rasmussen operation. And needless to say I'm not.

Just another part of the right-wing establishment that portrays themselves as "news" organizations or impartial pollsters when in fact they're merely pro-Trump propagandists.

FiveThirtyEight gave Rasmussen a C+ rating before it excluding Rasmussen from its poll tracking. Rasmussen is not a member of the National Council on Public Polls or a supporter of the American Association for Public Opinion Research's Transparency Initiative.

Prepare to see the Republicans flood the zone in October with bogus polls showing Trump with a big lead.

That would be counterproductive.  Republicans seeing a big lead would then be less likely to vote since it's all "in the bag".

Not their intention. Them and Trafalgar are outliner pollsters working for Republicans.

84% lean to Republicans Trafalgar

Flailing trying to stir up some enthusiasm as in last resort.

Counterproductive is a very bigglier word, unlikely to be in what passes as a thought process in this campaign.

More likely, they need polls which "show" Trump as winning, to back up the inevitable torrent of protests and law suites which will be launched if he in fact loses.
