Yup!

I hate the App so do all my searching on the PC. Add to the cart then over to the App to get the coins and vouchers, then order.

yes .... I do the same to buy order from Shopee ....   look on the PC ... then in the cart,  then phone app and look at your vouchers for the free delivery one.

OP ....   and I'll be honest ....  apart from the fact that delivery is so convenient .....   I buy online so I don't have to talk to any thai sales person or thai to ask a question and you get that stupid 'I don't know' look etc ....

I just don't want to interact with Thai shopkeepers and salespeople,  it gives me a headache.    7-11 is just bearable.

All the free shipping on Lazada and Shopee is a game changer....Unless you catch a sale at HomePro or Big C they just cant match Lazada or Shopee prices with the free shipping.....Plus the vouchers and coins discounts makes HomePro look even more over priced....

And the efficiency of that shipping... my recent order, was made Tuesday and arrived Thursday. But beware of the dreaded 'shipped from overseas' less efficient and poor tracking...I might suggest Lazada hide the fact that something you are looking at is being shipped from China.

Collect the Lazada coins and Lazada Rewards money and dont forget the vouchers  and free shipping.....

Put all these discounts together and very often I have gotten between 20 - 70% off my Lazada orders.....

Trust me folks I have got 50-60% off loads of times.....

Not every order can I manage huge discounts but I do get them pretty often......Shopee is not to shabby too with discounts sometimes.....

Totally agree. Get all the vouchers, wait for the right date eg. 9/9 or 10/10, POCO phone was Bht 2000 cheaper on Lazada, as was a TCL aircon, Bht 2800 down, at Bht 7500.

I learnt to use COD for Lazada after paying for a product that never got delivered. The product was less than 100 baht so I forgot about it. Since then I've used COD without any problems. Now if the product doesn't get delivered I really don't care.

Yep COD is great.....Exactly for the reason you spoke of....99.9% of the time my COD order has been exactly what I ordered...Only once I got a bum order...

Unfortunately, as a non-Thai you cannot retrive the funds as it must me by a Thai national.

Call Lazada, I have 020180000 as contact number. They sent me a link for the refund, transferred I think to my Thai bank account. After that I got the E-Wallet (some purchases you'll get "coins" using the Wallet) that connects with my K+ App from my bank.

You have to be careful about clothing/shoe sizes. What I gather from Lazada return policy, if you get the size wrong (too small or too big) and not Lazada, no refund.

Here is what I learned about Lazada in Thailand:  Do not buy batteries or UPS batteries there (they will be closed to expiration date). Do not purchase expensive brand snickers / shoes there - it will be knock offs.  It's OK to purchase auto parts / motorcycle parts and accessories and small electronics,,, If you are purchasing clothes - buy with exact measurements:   i.e : Waist size 32", chest 70", pant length 32"...  Do not buy sizes "S" "M" "L" - they will be off for sure.

What I have learned about most shops on Lazada, they will send you message or call you if you give a bad review, and give you an shameless offer to change it.

Can't trust the reviews

You have been here long enough to know that there are very strict (stupid) defamation laws here, and if you say anything negative about someone, or a business, they can, if they want, bring defamation against you.

So your saying that something will arrive from Lazada with parts missing or no plug COULD lead to the vendor getting pi55ed off, saying that your statement has hurt his business, and do it. As you say, for such a small item, probably not, but he would be within his rights to.

yes .... agree ,    but the defamation laws are more towards Hotel reviews and restaurants ....   not so much Shopee or Lazada ...   but I guess here, anything is possible.

Here is a clothing size tip for you guys....If you are a average sized farang like around 80 90 kilo  give the 3X, 4X extra large shirts a go...I have had my best luck with this size....

I use CC w/o worry. Of about 700 items I've ordered over the last 8 years, FINALLY a few weeks ago, 2 of 3 of the same item didn't arrive. Not expensive. I raised a dispute with the seller. Denied, said their records show shipment of all items.

Appealed to Lazada and got refund to my credit card as usual.

If I'd taken delivery in person, I would have taken evidence from the delivery person. In this case, the logbook of the receiving security guard recorded that only 1 item had been delivered, so a photo of the logbook sufficed.

Payment by credit card is just too convenient. I'll never go back to COD, haven't used it in years.

Have had no problems along that line. I installed a new UPS battery from Lazada a few months ago, and it's been great. Ironically, the last UPS battery I bought from a local electrical shop died at least 6 mos before it should have.

You can buy from reputable sellers on Lazada and the products are not knockoffs and priced accordingly. Supersports, for example, sells on Lazada as well as in mall outlets. Same principle applies with buying SSD drives or flashdrives, among other things often fake.

Product pages usually have size charts. Occasionally, vendors state that the size is a Western size.

Even so, because you likely are not going to be able to return the item, it's good to try a cheap item or two first to verify what your size is most likely to be in the Asian market here. Works pretty well. I've ordered quite a few shirts, jeans, couple of jackets from different vendors on Aliexpress w/o issue.

Good thing about Thailand is that it's so cheap to alter clothes w/ your local sewing lady. I always have my jeans leg lengths adjusted after a washing.

I was quite un aware of LAZADA 1 year ago when a friend told me to try order a new battery from them instead of buying an expensive one in the MC shop. I did, and got the

battery 2 days later for under half the price. I also found a few tools for a bike I needed to repair. Same same. 2 days and cheap! I love that place!! The battery even delivered on a Saturday morning! Beat that!😍🤩

Get a lot of stuff from Lazada....no particular problem.....but the packaging amazes me......it uses third hand boxes, fourth hand sellotape and fifth hand plastic bags.....and this is all packaged up by ten year olds.......weird
