Smaller diameter wheels give a better turn radius and help lower the center of gravity.  Both of those make them better in town.  Larger diameter tires are better at highway speeds.

If I remember OP problem, it was stiff suspension? Smaller diameter wheels, gives shorter travel for suspension, and harder to satisfy the op even by changing the suspension with an aftermarket to a softer one, he risk to bottom out the suspension.

Compromises is hard on such small wheel bikes.

What is OP weight? As said before, the Asian suspension is set for an average weight of 75kg,

Says who?  Just because they can make it shorter does not automatically mean they do.

Gave one of the ADVs a test ride before ...used....cannot remember stiff stock suspension...I found Nmax had more stable balance...the ADV tended to veer very easy left or right in comparison.

am with you, was thinking about changing my click 160 to the ADV for a so called "good/soft" ride but this is another poster  complaining about the ride, will keep my click for now, as you I did change the suspension as u did unfortunately didn't felt any difference, only get better over some bumps with slightly deflating the tires

Since you are the expert, I will let you give the expert advises.

I have just bought and sold bikes since I was 15 years old and had 5 different bikes from 150 to 1000cc 🤔😁

Have a good day, I will not interrupt your posting advises anymore with stupid unnecessary comments knowing better than you.

Just to add to this topic.

We picked one up and are very pleased thus far.

The tyres were pumped up way too far as usual. Once corrected the ride is smooth enough. Re an earlier post of easily steering off line, correcting the tyre pressures eliminated this as well.

The thing that did annoy was the available space between the tyre valve and the spoke-cross(front) or hub(rear). It's a bit of a struggle to squeeze the pump's tube head on, poor design there.
