The best toasted ham and cheese Panino sandwich in Bangkok?
Has anyone found a really good proper place for a nice, hearty ham and cheese Panino sandwich in Bangkok where the sandwich is toasted with a nice, generous amount of thinly-sliced ham and some nice, gooey melted cheese dripping out of the sides of the sandwich? I'm expecting people are gonna say go to 7-Eleven because their grilled ham and cheese sandwiches gained a lot of notoriety and have become a thing, but I'm looking for the real deal. Nothing processed or made with fake cheese from trans fats, but something authentic, with some nice bread and both quality ham and cheese. I assume there are some places that do it right and really specialize in it, but I wouldn't know where they are. Dean & Delucca perhaps? If you found any good ones that are worth the effort to track down and devour then please share your insight and experience on the quest for a finely toasted ham and cheese. -

At least you won't have that nagging feeling in the back of your mind, should I have done that or not. Personally, I reckon TRD should host a lottery once a year, file your tax return and your TIN will be entered into the draw, first prize, THB 10 mill. The tax take would take off like the space shuttle. Remember, you heard it here first.- 1

Yikes. I hate these convoys with flashing lights, high end cars, with police/military escorts dominating the roads , supposedly transporting shameless VIP's. Are todays VIP's such morons that they consider themselves way above the normal citizens? - most of these existing on the tax payers money! It is disgusting, wherever it's happening on this planet! -

Reading some other sources, it seems that the biggest issue is the permitting and bidding process, where the participating companies are required to meet DEI and Green initiatives that are pretty much impossible. (And stoopid). That's probably why North Carolina doesn't have their 20,000 Starlink stations, which would have been handy during the Helene response. But were defunded by the Biden Admin in 2023, having been approved in 2020. Musk claims that the "performance criteria" they didn't meet were ridiculous and had little to do with "performance" and more to do with wokeness and DEI. And the fact that the current administration is cheezed off at him. -

One Thai national has returned from Lebanon, while five others are awaiting evacuation from the conflict-hit country.
