Pride Flags Removed from House of Lords Canteen After Peer’s Complaint
You eff with peoples kids, you lose any support you ever had. I do not think most gays support this idiocy, but they are on the wrong side of this issue. No. The “religious right” has never changed their position, the left is pushing parent to the right. Please keep believing open borders, transing kids and men in girls’ showers and sports is the hill to die on, at least until after the midterms. -

Accident British Tourist Rescued After Motorbike Crash into Phuket Canal
Pictures courtesy of The Phuket News A British tourist in Phuket narrowly avoided disaster after his motorbike careened into a canal near Patong Hospital. Thanks to the prompt actions of local rescue workers, the 21-year-old was saved, escaping with only minor injuries. The incident took place on June 10 along Sai Nam Yen Road. Emergency responders from the Kusoldharm Phuket Foundation's Patong unit quickly rushed to the site upon receiving an emergency call. There, they found the young tourist trapped in the canal, having lost control of his motorbike. The motorbike, still fitted with red licence plates indicating its recent registration, had plunged into the water, necessitating an urgent rescue. A spokesperson from Kusoldharm Phuket explained, "Rescue workers quickly secured the motorbike with a sling and pulled both the bike and the rider out of the canal." Fortunately, the tourist sustained only minor injuries, none life-threatening, thanks to the swift rescue operation. While the precise cause of the accident is yet to be fully determined, speculation suggests the tourist may have missed a nearby bridge while navigating the road, inadvertently driving into the canal. Witnesses suggested, "It’s possible that the tourist lost control of his bike and veered into the water." This incident underscores the hazards of driving on unfamiliar roads, particularly in regions where canals run adjacent to roadways. The tourist's near miss was transformed into a fortunate escape by the quick-thinking Kusoldharm Phuket Foundation rescue team, highlighting the importance of road safety and awareness. As a reminder, practising careful driving, especially in new environments, is crucial. The outcome of this incident stands as a testament to the critical role of emergency services in protecting both locals and tourists alike. Adapted by ASEAN Now from The Thaiger 2025-06-11 -

Greta Thunberg and the Cult of the Omnicause: When Activism Becomes Performance
I support Thunberg's cause here. Her method is a bit unusual, but at least it's not violent.
