Pattaya restaurants.
Hi all, will be in Pattaya all of February. Always rented in Jomtien so don’t know the ropes of Pattaya. I eat Thai food, but am wary of cheap places, so good clean Thai food suggestions please. I only ate at Chez Pascals which I like and has a divers menu. Hilton too expensive for daily . I loved Aquavit in Jomtien beach rd, so I suppose I could jump on a baht bus there and back ? ( they’ve changed to one way ??). How about the best British food ? I do love Indian too, but the only one I found clean is Indian by Nature in Jomtien. Yes, I’m a clean freak, which comes from running a very poplular restaurant in France for 38 years where hygiene is a big must. My favorite Thai was in Jomtien so I 5 , stuck onto immigration, but had to move. So now they’re in Banglamung and it’s called Sea Talay. Looks great and same staff. Can I get there with Baht bus from Dolphin roundabout ? If not too far can go with Bolt/ uber. Any suggestions very welcome. -

Trump’s Proposal for Gazan Relocation makes perfect sense
True. I also thought that the people in Gaza were refugees, hence why they still live in "refugee camps". They are not native to Gaza. So why can't they be refugees somewhere else? There are 22 countries in the Arab League, with a total population approaching 500 million. Should be easy for them to absorb a couple million from Gaza. -

Should I have my (mercury) amalgam fillings removed?
My amalgams have been in place 55+ years and still going strong. Meanwhile, the composit fill replacements (on a few) keep cracking and I have paid to have them replaced again more than once. Each time more of my tooth is wittled off. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. -

Getting UK HMRC to recognise my UK State Pension as not receiving the yearly increases.
I looked on the DWP web site and it mentioned the choice was weekly or 4 weekly. I applied to get it weekly as I was struggling to budget on a 4 weekly basis. Even monthly would be better, at least you know where you were instead of the stupid different day in the month. But I only got it every 2 weeks which a lot better that 4 weekly. Better off in my bank account than in the DWP's. -

Youtubers in Thailand.
Best interacted with through safety of a screen.... So many unhinged foreigners in Thailand pass for 'crazy farang' in the sense they mean "white western culture's baffling and different ways"...when we as westerners would simply say "F-ing crazy guy" observing some of the antics that go on. Can you imagine the things westerners do in Thailand being done by a Thai in your home country ? Puts it right in perspective.
