And not just for laughs, but "therapeutic" also, for those of us frustrated by the "local" way of doing things.

 

To get started, here's my current favorite.

Not his job! You hired a guy to install the fan and he did it correctly. So now you need to hire an electrician to connect the power. 🤦🏻‍♂️

A/ the person employing the electrician should have had them install a plug socket at same height as the fan, or if the fan being installed after the plug socket, checked the fan before it was installed to see if it was being put in at the right height.

 

B/ it's a simple matter to change the wire coming out of the fan for a longer one. Just buy an extension cord and cut a piece correct length. I'd do it myself, but less confident persons could employ an electrician to do it.
