What you don't seem to grasp is that I don't need to grasp that and don't really care anyway. Merely a gratuitous self-serving assumption on your part. LOL. Average users are whom I'm addressing here. Me, I'll regedit, patch, or HxD as needed. Haven't used Rufus in many years; it's come far. I mostly use Ventoy or Etcher lately when dealing w/ ISOs. It's only self-appointed llittle forum gurus such as yourself who need cluelessly to dream up fantasies about what I need or prefer. Average users aren't going to check the Rufus website, nor would users here. Nor would I make a point of it, actually, as I have no personal interest in installing Win 11. If I did wouldn't need Rufus. You yourself could have researched the topic long before I did and give the latest info that you found, but you didn't; merely waited to jump in and bidker as usual. But they didn't succeed. No further info about that user exists, to my knowledge, and so it's as up-to-date as it gets. If you know him, then you may ask for today's status. As I noted, a variety of outcomes exist with 24H2, and I linked to a discussion thread, one of many. Whether the latest Rufus solves everyone's problems, I dunno. I don't think that's really known yet, except perhaps to you. Yawn. Occasionally reporting info I happen to run across that respected sources have reported to their users (not scaremongering), and suggesting a possible head-up here, isn't in the least scaremongering, as you need to imagine. Now I do think it's probably wise of anyone who attempts to workaround product requirements or use hacks to not be too smug about the future, but it's really up to him, you see. So, sympathizing with inferiority complex driving the incorrigible bickerer, I leave you to enjoy bickering over each of my replies and then even bickering with your own bickers, as I'm not getting into another of your fests. -

No thanks they couldn't put up with me and vice versa I'm a carer person with a good heart ,I don't need to be hurt nor have responsibly to care for someone I am too busy complying statistics on how many Dental clinics have the word Smile in them and taking pics of condos but I was very very sad today to think of how many ,yes HOW MANY lonely farangs are cooped up in the Flybird and Nirun condos without a carer -

I did my 90 day report this morning. The IO didn't even glance at the paperwork. He just scanned my passport, printed a new reporting form and cut it in half with a ruler as a straight edge, stapled it in my passport and that was that. 5 minutes after entering the office I was done. I asked him about the move to the new office and he said "Maybe January". But he obviously didn't know. -

Nope. Never mentioned "suffering", tho you have...twice. Slow ✔️, lagging ✔️, unusable during Windows updates ✔️...but never ever has it caused me any "suffering", nor was it ever intimated by anyone other than you. Had I been caused such "suffering", then would have already purchased a new, high-end SSD Win11 machine long ago. The old laptop still gets the job done. Slightly inconvenienced at times, but never "suffering"...and I'm still quite capable multitasking, so waiting out an update isn't "suffering" to me. But thanks kindly for the knowledgeable and useful input...as well as your not-at-all useful opinions/perceptions. 🤣 -
