If there is a Zenni factory in Bangkok, why were mine made in China and shipped to me here? Strange eh?

Maybe certain models only were made or value added in Thailand.  Same as in other industries.

Fair price for the quality. I paid about the same for Linea Roma with single vision distance lenses in Paraguay about 15 years ago. I also purchased a pair of Wrangler reading glasses from the same shop but can't remember the cost of those.

Most of us use ZenniOptical online, quality frames and delivery in 10 days for under $50.

Why pay more?

Yeah am a zenniboi here... cost a lot more than $50.00 though.

I would never buy quality googles in Thailand. They would be far more expensive then in the west. Not to mention the chances of being cheated with fake goods.

Best trick is to go and try the model you like back home in a reputable shop and then you purchase the same model and size from a reliable internet store in your home country.

Prices will always be far better. And No, it's not being a Cheap Charles or whatever. It's plainly not being guilable and stupid.

Paid  a very high price, higher than EU or USA for a pair of reading glasses, and the quality is horrible.  One or both lenses fall out about every three weeks (probably poor edge grinding not consistent with the frame)  but more than that the frame was promoted as Lacoste -  the same green alligator.  It turns out it is a Chinese brand called Alligator!  The plastic pieces that touch your nose are obviously very low in plastic and cause sores constantly.

In short, this chain is deceptive, overcharges, and has very poor quality, avoid at all costs.  They are a total rip off.

Foster Grant - FOLD FLAT Magnivision - Reading Glasses - Gavin [B80-82] - Picture 1 of 6

fantastic folding glasses..   and depending where you order them $12-$20

and yes they fold flat to fit in that case

Zenni is a US company with manufacturing site in China. They shipped my glasses from Sweden presumably their cost effective distribution hub? It takes 2+ weeks delivery time.

"They" don't do good optical here. It's too specialized a field. Thai's are also too rushed typically in personality to do a perfect job, or it's an anxiety issue. Either way, it's not usually done correctly the first time.

I get mine done in the USA when I go back and pay a premium to have them done correctly.
