Really??

We are told Islam is a religion of peace; anyone telling you that is just engaged in uninformed, wishful thinking or is deliberately trying to deceive you.

Islam is not a religion of peace at all; the perpetrators of terrorism are following the edicts clearly given in the Surahs (verses) that constitute the Quran, their holy book.

The word Islam means submission.

The Quran dictates repeatedly that its followers must convert you to Islam or kill you if you refuse to convert.

Much of the Quran speaks not about religion but only about how one must submit; it commands how one must live, dress, treat women and slaves, and practice jihad.

VERSES TELL THE TALE

The Quran is replete with Surahs directing its followers to violence.

Some examples follow:

Surah 3:151: "We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve (all non-Muslims) …"

Surah 2:191: "And kill them (non-Muslims) wherever you find them … kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers (non-Muslims)."

Surah 9:5: "Then kill the disbelievers (non-Muslims) wherever you find them, capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush …"

Depends where you read it:

If you go to Quran.com:

"We will cast horror onto the hearts of the disbelievers for associating 'false gods' with Allah - a practice He never authorized. The fire will be their home - what an evil place for the wrongdoers to stay"

Go to the old testament and you find similar text.

Don't forget when those scripts were written

Biggest load of tosh I have ever read.

Feel free to read the attached d list and re-address your insane comment !

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Islamist_terrorist_attacks

According to Fondapol, a French think tank, between 1979 and May 2021, at least 48,035 Islamist terrorist attacks took place worldwide, causing the deaths of at least 210,138 people. - yeah just one bad apple !

It was only one bad apple that spoiled the entire barrel as well as every apple tree in that part of the world . Yet here we are thousands of years later.

His name is Mohamed.

These numbers are given by a terrorist organisation named hamas and has not been vetted by any international body.

Another point is that Israel has REACTED to an unprovoked attack against civilians - 1200 who were slaughtered by that very same terrorist group. Most of those who died in Gaza were terrorists, and the few civilians who got caught in the fire were actually used by hamas terrorists as human shields.

Is the UN a international body?

Few civilians? Women, mother's and children?

Who gaslighted you?

Geez😱

Is the UN an international body? Theoretically yes. However, it has been proven without doubt that many of the UNRA personnel ARE Hamas terrorists.

As for UNIFIL in Lebanon - Hizballah terrorist built camps and dug tunnels next to their bases and posts. So are they credible for anything?

More so - the UN secretary general has admitted that ALL numbers they have announced were supplied by Hamas "officials" and no UN nor any international body has checked the numbers, and he also admitted that the numbers submitted by Hamas were blown up well out of proportion and the numbers are less than half of what was advertised.

Hamas also count ALL dead as civilians. They never gave any numbers for terrorists.

Throughout history, there has always been a tiny number of people prepared to illegally kill others.   An abhorent minority, but history teaches us that it cannot be legislated away..... unfortunately.

That's gaslighted wrong.

The numbers the UN published have been confirmed by Israel.

The tunnels were shown by Israel only, not confirmed.

And of course we don't know how many Hamas members lived in Gaza.

Unfortunately they had no sticker on their shirts: "I'm a Hamas Fighter".

The propaganda works perfect on you

 All criticism drowned. Bravo!

I still have not understood why despite serious and reliable warnings from Egypt and the US before the terrorist attack last year, Israel dit not react to prevent it or to at least step up the level of presence all along the border ?

Those suffering today besides the innocent civilian victims all over,  are also the hostages and their families who do not approve on how the situation is being handled by Tel Aviv.

And don't forget hardline Islamists accept every word as law in the Quran.

They don't care when it was written and the period of time people lived in.

They are misguided fanatics, however, they spark fear in the wider Muslim community, hence nobody is willing, or very few, to speak out against their atrocities.

We don't need to visit the ' old chestnut ' look at the Old Testament, Christians don't follow it in 2024, Muslim fanatics' do!

Not many is it. Over 4 decades.

The Christians in Russia have doe more than that in the last 3 years.

The Jews in the last year have done about 45,000

The American Christians and their allies have killed millions since the seventies, in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq etc.

The quote said 48,000 separate terrorist attacks between those years, not numbers dead.

48,000 isn't many?

How many more Twin towers, London and Manchester bombings, Bali bombings, etc, do we have to see?

Were these military targets or just people that got up that day going to work!

Let's remember who kicked all this off in Israel recently, HAMAS and the murder of innocent Israeli civilians, hoping to develop it into a wider conflict and draw in other middle eastern nations.

Israeli officials made some huge mistakes regarding warnings from the U.S., Egypt and Israel's own intelligence officers.  Top-level military and civilian leaders didn't believe Hamas had the capability to launch the type of attack it did.  Moreover, they felt Hamas would be deterred from such an attack because of the massive deadly response it would provoke from Israel.  They also felt the border surveillance system would give them more warning than it did and they would have time to move in reinforcements..

Those assumptions proved very wrong and 1,200 Israelis and foreigners died as a result, with several hundred more taken hostage.   For their part, Hamas' leaders didn't believe the response would be as devastating as it was.  They may also have  believed  Iran and Hezbollah would launch more effective attacks on Israel or that the UN and pro-Palestinian countries would be able through diplomatic actions to blunt Israel's response.

Well, that's how you personally find it.

However, the Islam is NOT a violent religion. Read about it and you will not use prejudices and stereotypes.

We keep being told that then just yesterday a Swiss lady was stabbed to death in front of her 3 kids in Algeria.

And yes the barbaric lunatic was shouting "alluhu akbar"

Just because they live in America, does not make them Christian.   I seriously doubt that the high school attackers are going to or are members of any Christian church.

Many high school students that participate in gang violence, are just that, members of gangs and some are already convicted criminals.

"A Christian is someone who1234:

  • Believes in Jesus Christ and follows his teachings.
  • Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Trusts in Jesus Christ for salvation.
  • Seeks to follow Him in obedience.
  • Hopes in Jesus Christ alone to save them from their sins and make them right with God."

It would be interesting how many died in attacks by non-Muslims in that time?

(Already more than 100.000 the last months by Israel and more even by Putin) Add Iraqis and others attacked by US. Only some examples.

One Middle Eastern tribe against another Middle Eastern tribe or one Slavic ethnic group against another Slavic ethnic group or even Iraqis and others attacked by US or European government actions should be of no interest to Northern European or Anglo Saxon people. The only interest and concern would be Muslims killing Northern European or Anglo Saxon people and this concern has lead to the 'made up word' that is Islamophobia.

Your first part I agree, but the second is not right.

Since US try to keep the hegemony over the world and world's resources animosities were rising fast. (started earlier during slavery already). Colonialism by exploiting the colonies was the Impetus of uprising.

(concerning the Arabs: Israel was planted artificially into an Arab world, no matter who was settled there before)

Youi are simply using an excuse that is not valid.

Apples and Oranges.

American gun violence has nothing to do with sponsored terrorism, they are completely different.

This murderer is not a Muslim, he is simply a cowardly murderer who needs to be taken out of the gene pool.

Maybe you could quote all the other verses regarding the killing of infidels
